  • Debating whether to play mikaele or fix my frf situation due to the byes

    TU schille/vfif > fainu
TD play mikaele, schiller > sasagi, Brooks to cleary.

    Comment other

    Grant api
    Curran tapine Hughes mikaele
Angus kpp ekat jcarty smithies vfif
    Hynes Brooks
    Strange Galvin
Garrick val rts arthars schiller talagi iro
    Turbo papy

    165k 4 boosts

    • I’d be wary of Sasagi, played the 80 last week because he moved to 5/8 when Fogarty went down, and I think Whitehead is due back soon.

        • Idk man I’d just suggest your first trade, all cheapies this week are pretty bad with shaky job security

  • struggling to pick my last reserve. currently got it on Smithies, but could easily be persuaded into Api. just concerned about the tough matchup v Broncos

    TU: Api
    TD: Smithies

    • Any luck they finish within 5 points of each other. If there is a big difference guessing is almost impossible. I would be tempted to play them both and leave someone else out. Looks like the team is strong. You could be right about the matchup.

I have Galvin out on match up but he could do anything.

  • Hi everyone! I can afford anyone and really need a CTW gun this week but everyone feels overpriced… is it worth paying up for a Lomax, Manu, Mulitalo or Val? Isaako was also on my mind at a friendlier price. H2H focussed and have a grudge match against the old man this weekend so wouldn’t mind a big score this week!
Edit: current CTW is – DWZ, RTS, Iro, May, Strange, Schiller, Blaize

    • Lomax a beast this year, don’t think he’ll drop off much in price, still worth it so get him in if you can. Manu slightly overpriced playing at centre, similar options at cheaper prices, could skip for now and maybe look to bring him in closer to origin. Mulitalo is actually underpriced believe it or not, priced at a 78 but scoring at a 90 average, I’m still waiting on his low scores to come in so I can grab him haha, great origin draw. Val would be my CTW option #1, just not this week vs the Riff and a high breakeven, next 4 weeks after Penrith he would be a must own with his enticing draw. Isaako a fallen gun, still scoring well and could smash a ton against the lackluster Knights, good origin draw as well so I’ll be trading him in this week along with DWZ.

  • Thoughts?

    Poasa Faamusili -> S.Fainu
    Blaize -> Lomax
    Ponga -> Walsh

    Team is
    Api, Lussick
    May, Curran, Fainu, Hughes
Angus, KPP, E.Kat, Smithies, Lane, Chan
    Hynes, SJ
    Brown, Galvin
Ronnie, Lomax, RTS, May, Iro, Strange, Schiller
    Walsh, Paps

    • Do you really need to ask… you get rid of deadwood and buying 2 guns and a cashcow

  • TU: Max Plath
    TD: S Fainu

I’m leaning one way, just not sure if it’s the right way

    • I know what you mean… I ended up with both as the DPP gives me options to fix other areas or cover bye rds

      • Yeah both are handy with their duals. I like Fainu to swap with Curran/Cotter but think Plath will be handy to switch with Strange via 5/8 once we get rid of Galvin (obvs requires a trade to do that though)

My concern with Fainu is that he goes back to the bench

    • I’m going Fainu but need him to play in frf this week for Curran.

  • TU: Lomax and Walsh
    TD: Dwz and CNK
I’m actually keen on TD but I assume majority will suggest TU?
Plan is to go CNK or Walsh to drinky in 2 weeks and I like warriors draw in next 2 rounds better then dragons and broncos. Turbo is other fb

    • TU both will probably play origin. But both great trades.

TD Also great trades. Neither will play origin. If 1 scores well both probably will as they appear to feed off each other.

  • TU MANU

    TD SAAB

Need to know soon, wanted Garrick next week but if I get Saab I might forgo him

    • Saab would be a frustrating player to own I couldn’t do that to myself.

  • Could somebody pls do a 1hr Latemail update for the first game as I am going out now but should be back to do the second game Thx

  • I’ve attached team in the comments, feel like I need to being in a gun ctw and fix that mess. First trade swapped smithies to plath. Any thoughts on who to trade out and which gun to bring in leaving dwz feel like I’ve missed the boat on lomax, mulitalo and holmes.

  • 1hr updateWarriors vs Titans (in the absence of TG) – from NRL.com

Warriors: The Warriors are 1-17 with no late changes. Veteran utility Dylan Walker will return from an ankle injury on the bench alongside Zyon Maiu’u who makes his NRL debut. Shaun Johnson is good to go despite reports of an achilles injury during the week.

Titans: Isaac Liu comes into the starting side and David Fifita goes to the bench in the only late change for the Titans. Aaron Schoupp is 18th man. Phil Sami (ankle) and Keenan Palasia (quad) still sidelined.

  • Breakeven = ((Current Price / Magic Number) * 3) – (Last 2 Scores Total)

    Example: Zac Lomax
    (($800200 / 9691) x 3) – (175)
    247 – 175 = 72 BE

Magic Number changes every week. It is 9691 this week.

    TRADE-A-HOLICS MAGIC# 9691

Big Bye Rd19: Bulldogs Cowboys Panthers Raiders Roosters Storms Warriors
    Semi-Big Bye Rd20: Dragons Eels & Sharks ~ Rd21 Knights

  • Manu is a real curse against Young’s scoring potential … in some sense, if the roosters had any sense they’d use Manu as a dummy runner to attract the defenders … and cut him out to Young …

    • Yep, just not getting the minutes. I’m a Roosters supporter and I have to say the bench rotations are a source of annoyance as you can’t tell from one week to the next what Robbo will do with Terrell. I’ve had enough.

      • Poor mins 2 Weeks in a row, 3 out of the last 4 weeks? Not sure if it’s much of a rage trade now but more any value he had is about to fall off a cliff

    • If you can do that trade, well done as it’s a beauty and will result in peace of mind for your FRF.

  • I can’t keep up with which teams are good or bad anymore. Dragons now a leaky sieve who have Cronulla at Pointsbet next week which makes the decision of who to bring in first between Hynes and Cleary for the next 2 weeks before SJ peaks in price a tough one!

TU: Cleary BE 80 – cowboys away > souths away > dogs home

TD: Hynes BE 45 – raiders away > dragons home > storm away

  • 1hr to go: Storms vs Rabbitohs Kick-off 7.50pm Thursday
Storms: Still 1-17 Welsh starting NAS to the bench 18th Man Howarth
Rabbitohs: SMitchell drops out with Kolo starting now and Jai Arrow back to the bench again, as reported by Macca 🙂 with M Chee Kam coming onto the bench
    Remaining Reserves: Tallis Duncan
TRADE-A-HOLICS MAGIC# 9691 Special Thxs to Mobile Chicane

    • late change – Arrow shifts back to the bench in his return from a shoulder, with Keaon Koloamatangi moving from second to front row and Michael Chee Kam join the starting side.
Skipper Cameron Murray has completed the concussion protocols and takes his place at lock. Hooker Damien Cook has been recalled and will start at hooker.

      • Thxs for the update Macca… been a busy day and appreciate the corrections as I am not perfect 😉
