Panthers will be 1-17 with Origin players James Maloney and Nathan Cleary ruled out when 20 man squad came out 24 hours before kickoff, Tyrone Peachey is still in 20 man squad but Anthony Griffin has confirmed he won’t play. Moses Leota will play despite picking up hand injury last week. Caleb Aekins will make NRL debut at fullback. Liam Martin and Kaide Ellis the 2 other players to drop out of squad. Sharks are expected to be 1-17 with only Valentine Holmes the only player to back up from Origin with Sosaia Feki on standby should he be ruled out with Eddrick Lee pontentially moving to fullback, no other late changes expected. Wade Graham is a confirmed starter after recovering from cheekbone injury. Scott Sorensen will be other player to drop out of squad.

Knights vs Eels
Knights could have 1 change with Nathan Ross a chance to replace Cory Denniss at centre with new recruit JJ Felise to come onto bench. Mitchell Pearce is a confirmed starter after recovering from pectoral injury suffered in Rd 7. Nick Meaney will make NRL debut at fullback. Sam Stone will be other player to drop out of squad. Eels will be 1-17 with all players taking part in training during with no late changes expected with Kane Evans and Kaysa Pritchard the 2 players to drop out of squad.

Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs
Bulldogs could have 1 change with Kerrod Holland in some doubt due to shoulder injury, final call will be made on Friday as to if he plays with John Olive on standby should he be ruled out. Only other change to 17 could be same as previous weeks with David Klemmer who is expected to back up form Origin dropping to bench with Danny Fualalo starting in Front Row. Rabbitohs have Dane Gagai, Angus Crichton and Damian Cook in doubt after playing Origin, if they are all ruled out or rested Adam Doueihi would replace Gagai at centre with McIlwrick coming onto bench, Billy Brittan would start at hooker with Kyle Turner or Dean Britt coming into 17 to replace Crichton with Murray starting and S.Burgess moving to edge.
Sea Eagles vs Storm
Sea Eagles will have a couple of changes with Dylan Walker to be ruled out due to knee injury, this will see Trent Hodkinson start at 5/8. Matt Wright will play despite picking up shoulder injury in last game but will drop back to bench with Jorge Taufua to return from hamstring injury after training during week. Origin players Brothers Jake and Tom Trbojevic are all expected to back up from Origin, but Daly Cherry-Evans pulled up sore from Origin and is in doubt with Tom Wright on standby should he be ruled out. Storm have Billy Slater, Will Chambers, Josh Addo-Carr, Cameron Munster, Felise Kaufusi and Tim Glasby all who played Origin on Wednesday, main concerns would be over Cameron Munster with reports he broke his finger in Origin with Ryley Jacks set to replace him in halves. Other player of concern would be Felise Kaufusi with ankle injury if ruled out Joe Stimson would start in 2RF who is expected to play despite picking up wrist injury last week with Albert Vete coming onto bench.
Raiders vs Cowboys
Raiders will have 1 change with Joseph Tapine ruled out due to suspension this will see Sia Soliola starting in 2RF with Liam Knight coming onto bench. Josh Papalii is tipped to back up from Origin. Jordan Rapana (hamstring) and Luke Bateman (knee) will both play after training with squad during week. Cowboys only players of concern are both Coen Hess and Gavin Cooper due to Origin, both travelled straight to Canberra after Origin, I am expecting Coen Hess to play but Gavin Cooper to be rested due to managing shoulder injury, with either Ethan Lowe or Francis Molo coming into side if Cooper is ruled out. Josh Asiata will return after recovering from pectoral injury in Rd 7.
Broncos vs Warriors
Broncos look set to be 1-17 with Corey Oates, Josh Mcguire, James Roberts and Andrew McCullough all expected to back up from Origin, only player of concern is Kotoni Staggs due to concussion with David Fifita on standby should he be ruled out. Jamayne Issako is expect to recover from hip injury to play. Tevita Pangai Jnr may start in 2RF with Alex Glenn dropping to bench. Warriors expected to be 1-17 with Adam Blair set to start on right edge with Simon Mannering playing lock role.
Dragons vs Tigers
Dragons are expected to be 1-17 but do have Ben Hunt, Tyson Frizell, Jack De Belin, Paul Vaughan and Tariq Sims all backing up from Origin will a final call to be made as to if they play at Captain’s run on Saturday morning. Tigers are expected to be 1-17 with no late changes expected with Ben Mautlino (knee), Benji Marshall (calf), Elijah Taylor (concussion) and David Nofoaluma (calf) all expected to play after training with squad during week.
Titans vs Roosters
Titans have Jai Arrow and Jarrod Wallace who both played Origin on Wednesday night but both are expected to back up. Only players in doubt are Will Matthews (eye) and Keegan Hipgrave (concussion) with Morgan Boyle and Leilani Latu on standby should they be ruled out. Kevin Proctor will play after recovering from virus which restricted last weekend. Roosters will have a number of changes with Victor Radley ruled out due to suspension despite being named, this will see return of Ryan Matterson who will start on right edge. James Tedesco will be rested with Blake Ferguson moving to fullback with Matt Ikuvalu to come onto wing. Final call will be made on Latrell Mitchell as to if he plays at Captain’s run on Saturday. Mitch Aubusson trained with squad during week and will play after being ruled out of last game due to hamstring injury. Cooper Cronk is also in some doubt due to birth of baby with Paul Momirovski on standby should he fail to travel with squad.
