If you don’t have Munster, I would go Brown > Munster asap.
Otherwise, no rush on Ilias as he can go to TMM next week. Randall is a sell this week or next but no massive rush. AFB is solid too but if you dont have Ipap, hes a target.
I am still dirty I didn’t bring him in the 1st week he was named as centre, and only missed his 1st good score. Sharks attack is humming this year, and he has always been a weapon.

Better trade in for Teddy..?
Hynes- broncos, warriors, raiders, titans, roosters – save 200k
Cleary- titans, eels, storm, roosters, cowboys
Do we think Hynes can outscore Cleary till round 13?
I don’t think so, only because it’s Cleary and the Panthers just look completely unstoppable regardless of their opponent. However, Hynes SHOULD put up some quality scores looking at that run
Had a solid week with 1555pts! Grant – Randall Ipap – Arrow – M.King – Thompson Talakai – Olakuatu – Aitken – Tupouniua – Tuilagi – Momoisea Cleary – Schneider Munster – Ilias Tago – May – Staggs – Penisini – B.Smith – Koula – Vailea Hynes – Papi $74500 in the bank. Last week I had Arrow – Lolo 100% locked and moved for Staggs last minute argh! My biggest trade plans are to get in Lolo for Arrow before origin, Sterling for Randall and Possibly Suaalii for B. Smith. The first two are going to be tough price… Read more »
I wouldnt force in Lolo. He will average around 60 – yes, a decent rd 13 option, but I would prefer to get Haas averaging 75+ who will outscore him in the lead up, assuming his shoulder is okay.
I agree with Lolo, and I had Haas, and took the chance on Ipap when Haas got suspended purely with the thought that Ipap and Haas but Ipap has more upside and would base average around the same, but I would lose Haas for origin, with my long term plan always to be bring Haas back in for my second FRF after origin. I’m really happy with my Ipap trade so far haha. I just did the trades and I can get Suualli in for Smith and upgrade Randall to Sterling with $3k left over. No doubt I’ll tinker but… Read more »
Dylan Brown owners – reckon he stays in the centre spot to make way for the muppets kid playing 5/8? If he does, potential trade out option or hold (considering he was still the 3rd highest 5/8 scorer this round)
Yep, consensus is Opacic will be back and that Arthur drops out – he’s awful as a half. I would start to consider morphing him into a ball playing lock or backrower.
Only question this week is who do i bring in as a bottom dollar player, Kiraz or Luke. Luke may see minutes in round 13 if api is picked for origin again, but surely kiraz has earnt himself a few more games
Dogs got special dispensation to bring Kiraz in cause of COVID to 4 players as he outside their top 30. Can’t see how he can be picked going forward with those 4 players likely back this week.
An AE nightmare until he scores a try. The moment he puts up a good score you’ll be cheering but how many weeks do you suffer until he gets 50+ scores?
I like Brown, I just think if people REALLY want Munster, who I think will average 10+ ppg more than Brown, then I would be happy with it. I wouldnt say hes a must trade at all, unless he stays in the centres, and even then if he does have dual CTW I would keep him in there.
Current team:
Grant (Cook)
Haas, Papali’i (MKing, Musgrove)
Murray, Tago, Fermor (Tuilagi, Moeroa, Momisea)
Cleary (Hynes)
Munster (Ilias)
Staggs, Cobbo, Penisini, May (Russell, Vailea, Koula)
Papenhuyzen (Taaffe)

Trying to make an Aitken, Schneider > Cleary trade work.
Needing a 2rf, Frf or CTW less than 258,400. Struggling to find any good cash cow options for any of these positions, trying not to nuff out this early. Could use my 4th trade boost to free up some more cash and get someone a bit more expensive. Any got any suggestions?
Asking myself the same question. Talakai is a bit cheaper and will be getting ctw dual soon.

I still have Amone stinking up my bench and I was trading him this week to Suaalii but Bird went off injured and he should now get the starting spot, is he worth holding onto or trade him to Suaalii.
My other trade out option is Penisini > Suaalii and generate some cash.
The magic number for calculating breakevens has fallen again this week. After starting the season at 8767 and increasing to a peak of 9445 in round 4, it has steadily declined and is now 9200 down 108 from last week.
I would anticipate it will continue to fall now that scoring has increased significantly.
To calcuate a breakeven, use the following formula:
Breakeven = ( ( Players current salary / Magic Number ) x 3 ) – last two scores
He gents trying to bring In pap. I like both options and even tho B might be chasing last week’s points and Coates is rocks and diamonds he does have the ability to go large
Which 2 have to go first?
D Brown
Fonua Blake
Ilia’s
Randall
Ilias and Randall for me.
Get on Jazz now that Curran is out for a while.
If you don’t have Munster, I would go Brown > Munster asap.
Otherwise, no rush on Ilias as he can go to TMM next week. Randall is a sell this week or next but no massive rush. AFB is solid too but if you dont have Ipap, hes a target.
Why is D. Brown a sell?
Dbrown will only have to play another week at centre at worst, didn’t affect his scoring either.
Remaining: 24K
Can’t complain about a 1459 but need to get I-Pap in. Anyone able to help a brother out?
Grant, Randall
Haas, Arrow, MKing, JTB
Talakai, Tago, Cotter, Jing, Jones, Tuilagi
Cleary, Schneider
Munster, Ilias
May, Hiku, Fermor, Penisini, Suaalii, Koula, Vailea
Papy, Hynes
Arrow and King to IPap and ….
You also have Randall, Ilias and Jones as potential sells.
You should be able to get it done.
Scores are final, prices have changed. Geez young Sifa at 699K?! Damn non owners be spewing right now.
I am still dirty I didn’t bring him in the 1st week he was named as centre, and only missed his 1st good score. Sharks attack is humming this year, and he has always been a weapon.

Think you need both

Alternatively, does he get dual if he plays another few games? Would be a season keeper at centre
Opacic will go back to centre when he is fit. He was only a late out, so probably go back next week
Yep, consensus is Opacic will be back and that Arthur drops out – he’s awful as a half. I would start to consider morphing him into a ball playing lock or backrower.
eels forums nicknamed him the baby giraffe. lol

true, might go luke then, or a round 13 nuff, altho bit early for that
What are our thoughts on Saab? I know he’s been terrible this year, but surely he’s got to be close to a buy at $237,500.
aiming for him as soon as turbo is back.
An AE nightmare until he scores a try. The moment he puts up a good score you’ll be cheering but how many weeks do you suffer until he gets 50+ scores?
He might not even be in the side once Turbo is back. Garrick and Tuipulotu are playing much better than him at the moment.
Only way I can get Cleary in is by selling Cook.
TU: YES
TD: No
Any tips on how I can get talaki in? Have $43k spare also keen on Munster but have to choose one.
Grant, Randall
Haas, Lolo, king, Thompson
Fifita, Murray, Olakautu, arrow, momo, tuilagi
Cleary, Taafe
D Brown, Illias
Tago, May, Penisini, suaali, koula, Vailea, Schiller
Hynes, pap
I would go Munster before Talakai personally – just my opinion. Brown, Arrow, Randall, Penisini, Ilias all expendable.
This is twice I’ve seen you mention Brown is expendable. Any specific reason why? If you have Brown AND Moses, who goes?
I like Brown, I just think if people REALLY want Munster, who I think will average 10+ ppg more than Brown, then I would be happy with it. I wouldnt say hes a must trade at all, unless he stays in the centres, and even then if he does have dual CTW I would keep him in there.
D Brown to Munster and just pray talaki can’t keep the scoring rate up week to week? Haha
Round 8 trades: Schneider & Collins -> Cleary & Moeroa
Current team:
Grant (Cook)
Haas, Papali’i (MKing, Musgrove)
Murray, Tago, Fermor (Tuilagi, Moeroa, Momisea)
Cleary (Hynes)
Munster (Ilias)
Staggs, Cobbo, Penisini, May (Russell, Vailea, Koula)
Papenhuyzen (Taaffe)

Kiraz could be an option if he holds his spot.
Think Kiraz got a special exemption to play due to COVID issues. He is outside the 30 and will drop out of squad this week
I wouldnt be rushing to sell Aitken – understand you want Cleary, but surely better option given Aitken is dual CTW and plays rd13?
If you can only get 1 in this week.?
TU Ipap
TD Talaki
Asking myself the same question. Talakai is a bit cheaper and will be getting ctw dual soon.

Does anyone know the extent of Bird’s injury?
Suspected Fractured Elbow
Forearm*
Maybe Amone is a hold for a week or two.
Is Hynes a buy this week with a high b.e. playing Broncos though
Sharks draw is amazing, yes.
Who makes way for Ipap?
TU – Arrow
TD – Fermor
Either. But Arrow looks to be playing 80 on the edge now that Host is out
Is talaki a must have?
He is shaping that way, especially when he gets dual CTW.
Is Yeo > Papalii sideways? It’s probably the only way I can get him.
No I would say its a great trade. Yeo will get managed into origin and has had a couple of big scores to bump his price up too.
Thanks Pretender, I think I will make the trade.

To calcuate a breakeven, use the following formula:

eg. Siosifa Talakai = ( ( 699500 / 9200 ) x 3 ) – 114 -165 = – 51
He gents trying to bring In pap. I like both options and even tho B might be chasing last week’s points and Coates is rocks and diamonds he does have the ability to go large
Option a
Randall > paix
Ilias > TMM
Teddy > pap
Option B
Randall > paix
Tago > Coates
Teddy > pap
I wouldnt go Tago > Coates personally.
cheers mate nice to see you kept your rank. i like option B as I’m bringing in 2 cheapies without sacrificing tago
