Magic number has moved from 8859 to start the season from 8755 last week now to 8575. Traditionally the magic number falls significantly in early season.
To calculate a breakeven use the following formula.
( ( Players current salary divided by magic number ) times 3 ) less last two SC scores

Going with Liddle to Schuster for my first trade, which leaves 162k itb. Who should I look to trade in/out with my second? looking at Ofa, fusitua or Fui out. Team would be as follows after first trade.
Sitting on trades at this stage of the game is madness, I aim to get my best team in ASAP and than save 10 trades for last 8 or so weeks carnage that always ensues.
Welch > Fifita via Tino or Welch > Gagai via Tino, Capewell
Liddle > Cody via Watson (Riki 18th man). Cody leaves me with 5k ITB so not much to do with that in regards to upgrading Welch for example. Help appreciated!
He did drop the ball over the line in R1! So maybe this is the week haha. Will toy with it, but leaning towards Fifita now as he’s been destructive even when carrying niggles over the past few weeks.
Yep can’t argue with that trade. I’m getting in fifi through another means so thats why I’d be more inclined to hold Welch for a few more weeks & hope for a pie.

You don’t need Gagai since you’ve already got To’o and Capewell in ctw.
Tino will need to go soon so a bit more itb than getting Walker will help.
Don’t chase ‘semi-decent’ in your CTW. You want either a) low-priced cheapies, b) high-base keepers, or c) guys with a good run of matchups. If they’re not a big tick in at least 2 of those 3 then just stick with what you’ve got, wait for them to have a good round and then cash them out.
Same decision for me to make – going To’o. Points difference between him and other Hail Mary CTW I hope will be > difference between Tino and D Fif.

I have Tino who is averaging 33ppg less than Fifita.
I was looking at moving out Tino last round but didn’t pull the trigger – I went Fusi > Isaako instead.
1182 took me up 4321 spots to a ranking of 3157 with a total score of 3638. Nice! Trades this week locked in Fogarty>swalker & joeo> pangai.
I literally can’t get a piece of schuster when I already have Munster and calker locked into my 5/8 already can I? This one stings a little!

Standard liddle to schuster first trade leaving me 205k itb. Any ideas what I should do next? Is Fifita a must grab? Pretty keen to get capewell to my ctw also.
I’m thinking Welch should go before Tino cause Tino owns the starting spot but I think Welch is only holding it because of injuries

I’m stuck in the peloton. 1107 took me from 36K to 29K. Leaving Niu and Rikki on the pine in round 2 cost me 120pts. Could be the difference between finishing the season 40K or 45K….
