What are people’s thoughts on Chee-Kam? Looks like he’s secured 80 mins, base of around 40+, likely to see attacking points at some stage, dual-position, priced at a 20 point avg. Am I missing something?
Host is due back next week and would push MCK back to bench or out of team I would imagine especially once Arrow also returns. Better cash grabs out there although I own MCK from rd1
Hey Everyone, I have BSmith and enough coin ITB to upgrade to Eg Mahoney. What are your thoughts on Josh Hodgson? At 385k do you see him as a viable option for now?
Injury worry. But big min in a high scoring side, who knows? Personally I’m sticking clear. I didn’t thumbs down you btw. That’s someone else. Legit question.
I’m not sure what’s a tough or easy schedule these days with dolphins beating roosters, Broncos beating Panthers at Penrith, bulldogs beating storm and everyone beating the tar out of tigers. I’m not sure about roosters. Surely they have to bounce back? But they certainly weren’t convincing against warriors in Sydney. Probably the only thing I’m kinda sure about is eagles look like they’re having fun watching everyone scramble. My poor Raiders are 0-2 but look pretty ok? I’m not sure of much right now.
If your looking way why not go all the way to Luke. Not plating this week but should build minutes up and would score as good as Hodgson with more upside.
If I bring in Garrick I can’t decide between him and Turbo. Garrick could be a POD play but I might miss the boat like I did Hopgoat last week. I think there will be a few with VC on Hopgoat. Either way I’ll get it wrong. ;^)
Forecast 35 during the day. 29-27 during game time . I’m hoping it improves a bit
Home at Manly so should be a little cooler

Thinking of:
Cheese, Teddy, Pele out
Jerome Hughes (via Boyd), Walsh, Preston in
I like Hughes as a pod with Munster out everything will go through him, and as I already have katoa it’ll be a mini stack there. If katoa gets an lb/try then Hughes is most likely getting the assist.
Been hugely impressed by Broncos so far and Walsh looks a gun. Losing Teddy a gamble but they have a tough run plus the bye. Basically chasing upside.

So looking for some assistance?
Looking at trading out
Option 1. Cheese, Talau & Teddy for Reed, Hammer & Kiraz ($168,600 ITB)
This option means I will have to play Boyd this week
Option 2. Cheese, Teddy & Boyd for Reed, Hammer & Hughes ($97,300 ITB)
This option is less money for the next trades.
Bringing in Kiraz keeps you with 3 gun/safe plays in CTW. And gives you the cash to get Hynes next week too

Someone talk me out of Cleary + Teddy + Cheese > Mahoney Schu + Walsh.
In 2 minds about teddy, JWH back this week, added NBrown to their pack, I think post bye they could go well regardless of the hard schedule. JWH will add spirit to the pack and I think Roosters will lift, and Teddy will get more ball.
Although the trades will leave me $$$ next week to go Egan > Nicho
Not sure Nicho is an immediate buy coming back from an injury and potentially not goal kicking. Worth a look anyway

Am I the only one that thinks the cheese is a hold? The bloke is a weapon and things certainly have not gone his way but wouldn’t take much for him to turn it around! And in quick fashion. Smith for Egan just feels wrong to me!!!
Yeah he has been good, but do you hold and lose money on someone like him or move him on and make some cash on better options and even can bring him back in later on for less?
i had a rib cartilage injury a few years ago just from overdoing it while preparing house for renovations,it was in much the same area as cheese appears to be tender, just above 1 kidney,it took a number of weeks to stop paining,i am a lot older than cheese but than kfoosie surely did get a good one in there
Think i’m going double doggies this week. Cheese + Thompson > Mahoney + Kiraz (50.3k ITB) Grant – Mahoney* Welch, Uto – Keppie, Pele Murray, Hopgod, Katoa – Niukore*, Preston*, Doorey Katoa – Cleary Doueihi – Ponga Holmes, Kiraz, Alamoti, Warbrick – AKP, Too, Turuva Turbo – Teddy* Not keen on a Ponga >Schu downgrade before watching him play or any of the upgrade options for this week so happy to keep him there for the week. Think i’ll likely boost next week with the idea of upgrading him to Hynes if named and can reassess the likes of Teddy… Read more »
I like waiting on the ponga trade. He’s not gonna lose money and your target isn’t going to make money. If you’re not gonna keep to’o I’d consider moving him on. Panthers aren’t knocking down any doors attacking wise. Hammer is a big trade in target this week. At his projected score of 46 he’ll make $96k. I think 46 against knights is very achievable.
I’m doing the same with keeping Ponga, but looking to move him to DCE or Hunt next week when S.Walker is on the bye

Outs Cheese Boyd Doorey
Ins -Egan Tricky Preston
I have Hammer and Isaako also, So with an ounce of luck the coffers will fill.
Luck to all and let’s hope there is a lot less setbacks for us and the players.
It may sound like you going for cash… but definitely points in that too 😉

Now that Ponga is out, Miller has less appeal even though he’s averaging 50. Have already traded Boyd to Preston and HSS to Hammer. Should my third be:
TU: – Miller to Kiraz; or
TD: – B Smith to Egan (or Mahoney)?

I don’t have similar players but from what I’ve read you could depart with ebutcher, doorey or ford. None scream trade out but probably doorey if it was me.

Last year. That was off the tigers bench though. I’m not super informed on his history. Before last year I didn’t play for like 5 years straight.
Host is due back next week and would push MCK back to bench or out of team I would imagine especially once Arrow also returns. Better cash grabs out there although I own MCK from rd1
Right, thought there must be something. Cheers!

Thumbs down doesn’t mean it’s not a legit question, it means those people think that Hodgson is not a viable option.
If your looking way why not go all the way to Luke. Not plating this week but should build minutes up and would score as good as Hodgson with more upside.
I like it, at least he plays 80min
V&C options interesting this week with eagles and eels Thursday night.
Im thinking vc or c turbo atm.

I appreciate any help guys.
Personally I don’t rate Hughes so option 1 purely because I’d never trade in Hughes. He burnt me last year.
Thanks, Mate
Thoughts on my last trade?
TU: To’o to Kiraz, free up $230k
TD: AKP to Hammer, leaves around $40k
Already have Garrick and Holmes as my gun CTWs

I understand your point but i just feel in the past, players with these rib/back injuries are always impacted in terms of their output.
Yeah he has been good, but do you hold and lose money on someone like him or move him on and make some cash on better options and even can bring him back in later on for less?

I couldn’t work out how to edit my previous post so here goes again with some options.
Grant cheese
Tino Welch uto moale
Tapine carrigan kikau hopgood Williame blore
Walker Boyd
Ponga katoa
Addocarr Thompson warbrick rmsith akp turuva alamoti
Teddy miller
Have currently $375 itb
TU kikau Boyd Thompson to Preston trindall hammer for cash grab and creates $770k itb
TD kikau cheese to Preston Mahoney which leave $760itb
Comment kikau cheese Boyd to preston Mahoney Hughes leaving $420kitb
Hynes may be back earlier than expected. Trindall could be a trap.

No guts, no glory Coggy.
Ponga and Talau nets me Dohicky and a picked 200k Warrior. So it’s getting done.

Preston
Out bsmith talau and moale
In Egan hammer and Shaw
Worth a boost?
If Shaw is Shaq, probably not
Yep Shaq sorry
Keep moale. Probably not worth it with tatola back
Any love for Shaun Johnson? I’m undecided between SJ and Mam. SJ has a better break even but i have suffered in the past bringing SJ into my team
No
Thoughts on cheese to Mahoney/Egan for the price rises and then to grant?
TU yes not a bad option
TD straight to grant
TU: E.Katoa (BE -28, 411k, nailed for 80 on Melbourne edge)
TD: Preston (BE -51, $200k, won’t score as well in my 17 and cash generation probably the same)
I’m pretty sure preston will score similar to katoa for 200k less
I doubt he has the same output mate
I thinkbit will be closer than you think. I’d have katoa ahead for points but preston for cash.
How to bring in Preston with a 2nd row of
Murray Egan butcher hopgood doorey ford katoa
Shame you can’t wait a week and see what the return of a few at Parramatta and the warriors means for them both.
Based on that, not sure it’s worth it.
I’m ditching ford. Hes in the HIA vortex now and Barnett’s took his edge (will he get it back?) Preston will score more and make more$.
I don’t have similar players but from what I’ve read you could depart with ebutcher, doorey or ford. None scream trade out but probably doorey if it was me.
I ditched butcher
