Is brimson a serious POD option at 5/8?

BB19

At first glance I’d think not considering they wont play the Cowboys every week.
.
However after the Canberra game he would be a temptation.

Hurtlocker

The Titans have been playing well last 3 weeks. If you think they will keep it up…he would be a high risk/High reward…especially if you need the extra $$ to get a gun backrower or Ponga this week. I cant go there.

Roosterblah

Is Mcinnes a final 17 player? even if I was to leave him at hooker in supercoach for the season? or does he only hold SC final 17 value in srf?

muddy

He is a workaholic – I’m holding him

Roosterblah

I see much better value in him than most of the other options at hooker, and with the likes of atleast Bateman and Crichton probably being buys in srf, I can bring one of them in next week instead of looking at someone like Cook or Api.

Brett Sterling

I would have LoLo, Matto, Angus and Bateman ahead of McInnes as 2rf. CSmith is the only hooker I’d pick over him. My aim is to play McInnes as a playing reserve at hooker

Dog of War

Is it worth having LoLo, matterson, Crichton, Bateman, dfifi, RFM for the run home if you only have Cleary and SJ in the halves or better to nuff a second rower and run an extra half

Roosterblah

Could wait for Munster to return and nuff then.

Mighty tigs

With Munster going down you ould get away with Sj/Cleary for a few weeks but I think you want at least 3 gun halves for the run home

Backi

Think ill just have cleary SJ munster, don’t know if any other halves are worth holding over fullback +2 forwards and a hooker reserve

Epitome7

I’m having a look at TPJ & Iku -> McInnes & Latrell.

Unfortunately, if CS9 & Matto return I’ll be struggling to pick my reserves – Will have to pick 4 from Jazz, Taupau, Rudolf, McInnes, Carrigan, Luai, Ponga. =/

Maybe I’d be better off holding TPJ as an NPR and selling Marty or something, not sure.

Mighty tigs

Must have a strong team than witch is good as for the R I would lock in Ponga, McInnes and Jazz than choose between Carrigan luai depending on what you need

Brett Sterling

Marty > Papalli, and definitely sell TPJ. 2 weeks off + massive news coming out on problems at Broncs

AceVentura

Thinking grant – jazz and katoa – papalli. Feeling a big papa ton against the awful donkeys

Hurtlocker

Great trades

Second Year Syndrome

McInnes, Walters
Haas, TKO, Rudolf, Kerr
Lolo, Tevaga, Yeo, Matterson, Fermor, Anderson
Cleary, Luai
Munster, SJ
Lomax, Mann, Mansour, Hall, Talau, HTF, Lemuelu
Teddy, Paps

Set on trading Paps > Ponga for the first, thinking Hall > Nofo to fix CTW? Just have to hold Munster for a week, still would have a good 17 with Rudolf, Luai, Matterson and Ponga the R’s.

Mighty tigs

I dont think Nofo is a buy with his tough run home tbh I would be tempted to turn Hall/walters into api/jurbo/Tohu

BroncosGirl

My concern more around relying on Matto to be back & banking on him for a decent 17. TlT will reveal more i guess.

Masonic Knights

Haven’t had him but I brought in Staggs last week, I could potentially bring him in for that scenerio but am hoping Bronco’s will fire up now that White Ant is away.

Backi

Like others, I think it’s a great time to zag from nofo as people may look to move him on in a couple of weeks

Boffa

Rapana at 270k has to be worth serious consideration when you can downgrade the like of htf, averillo, kennedy etc

Officer DeAngelo

Has there been any more word on Flanno’s sudden dropping? TKO and Lam look like good options if he’s on the outer

Heavyjuice

Watching the game, I though Lam was pretty average. Prob didn’t warrant enough to get dropped unless he was simply a motivation play for Flanno to fire up.

Hurtlocker

Coach said he was dropped. My assumptions with out any proof: that is just the coach paying a backhanded complement to Lam to keep his moral up. Flanno being rested for mental/physical reasons as a rookie. Back this week. TLT will tell us more.

Deep Thinker

As an owner of both Munster and Flanno, I hope he’s back this week.

Tough week to be playing him but if he’s not named tomorrow probably going to be a trade out.

I would definitely hold fire on bringing TKO in until we know for sure. JWH and Angus back means one of Butcher/Tupinuoa back to the bench – TKO surely won’t play 80 again so if Flanno is named it’s probably not worth the risk.

luigi

what do we know about munster injury,is he likely to take field on thursday?

King Gutho

He’s out 2-3weeks

luigi

so in that case it is necessary to trade him out if luai is your next best 5/8?

Backi

Yes I would be

Boffa

I’ve got brown. Considering holding.

King Gutho

ive gone munster to brown but i didnt have enough for sj and ponga

Sc Jedi Master

Looking for some help with trades this week and as always appreciate any input or feedback.

$200k

Cook BSmith
Hass Rudolf Twall (2rf Dual Nuff)
Lolo McInnes Katoa Carrigan Fermor Hoppa
Cleary Flannagan
Munster C Walker
Yeo Mitchell Lomax Aubo Talau Hammer Nuff
Teddy Ponga

At this point I am thinking Carrigan and Katoa for DFita and Matto

TU: looks good
TD: better options out there

Cheers.

Backi

Definately need to improve 2nd row so that looks good. Not sure on price difference but I’d prefer Bateman this week over matto

Although maybe better to hold Carrigan and nuff someone to upgrade next week

Sc Jedi Master

Thanks backi was looking at Bateman as a pod over Matto and due to BE but the one thing that is certain is that it is my 2rfs which I will be focusing my trades on. Appreciate it

BroncosGirl

Just read on nrl.com ….
Star fullback Tom Trbojevic will have scans on his hamstring this week to see whether he has the “integrity” in the muscle to move onto the next stage of his rehab. If not, he’ll have to wait.

I don't pray to God; I pray to DCE

Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no point to Tommy even going through this rehab process to get back this season.

With Manly’s ever-growing injury list (7-8 players from their best 17 were either out or injured last week), being essentially four points out of the top-8 (for/against taken into account) and what would be at most, five games left for him to play – it simply isn’t worth it.

King Gutho

agree let him recover over off season

rockafella

I thought he did that this year ?
It will be a short pre season this year .

Hoffa

I would think he would be keen to play origin.

BroncosGirl

Im sure he would be ….
I just dont think its worth it for himself or his team in the long run if hes not 100%

luigi

does he want a full 2021 season?everything being equal and covid being under some semblance of control?

BroncosGirl

I tend to agree …. i think in the long run for both Manly & his own sake theyre better off not rushing him at all and just giving it time/ rehab to heal. Hes still young – not worth the risk
(And i think thats more important that SC – but also why i not sold on bringing him back tjis season even if he is back- just too risky

BroncosGirl

Roosters stars Josh Morris and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves are both expected to return from calf injuries against the Storm on Thursday.

A club official said the experienced duo could have played against the Dragons in round 13 but were kept on ice as a precaution.

Winger Brett Morris (back) is also in the frame to play. The veteran is almost certain to return next round if he isn’t right this week.

The Roosters said there is a “question mark” over Angus Crichton (knee) while winger Daniel Tupou (ankle) is “close to no chance” of an early return.

Jake

Stuck on trades this week, been behind the mark all year with injury after injury. Any help would be appreciated

Jazz, McInnes
Hass, Paulo, Rudolph, Kolo
Lolo, Yeo, Leliua, Carrigan, Katoa, Fermour
Cleary, Luai
Munster, Williams
Nofo, Lomax, Kennedy, HTF, Best, Averillo, Williame
Teddy, Ponga
174K in the bank

King Gutho

munster to sj and id look at mabey upgrading best or htf

Jake

Had SJ in and out of my side all arvo. Was thinking maybe Wighton for a pod?

King Gutho

hes a good shout but sj been one of best this season depends if you need pod choice for ranks or need overall

Heavyjuice

Everything in attack for Sharks on the weekend was going through Johnson. I think having Moylan there makes SJ a better play.

jettio

What’s the analysis on the big 3 2RFs Matto, Angus and Bateman? All 3 are looking at a price drop with 100+ BEs, how does everyone rank them? Currently own Matto but very interested in trading to one of those two, is it worth it or concentrate on other trade outs like Best, HTF, Walters?

matt c

Depends if youre having to play Best, HTF or Walters

jettio

If I trade out Best I don’t have to play HTF, and I don’t have to play Walters

Brett Sterling

Keep Matto if named. I think he plays 80mins upon return. Use Best to fund Angus or Bateman (I’d pick Bateman before Angus)

jettio

So Best -> Bateman and then Nuff someone? Not sure if I’d have enough but not a bad idea

Backi

You mean trade matto out? I would be finding a way to get Bateman in but not at the expense of matto. I’ll be getting Bateman this week and matto next week

jettio

How are you playing it? Nuffing someone out or doing multiple downgrades to generate cash?

Backi

This week I don’t have much choice going pangai and munster to Bateman + klem/paulo/papa
Next week downgrade 1 of Luai, htf or averillo and upgrade ekatoa or carrigan

G

Hi guys,

Appreciate some advice (depends on TLT) (296 ITB):

Cook (Jazz*)
Haas Tapau (Rudolf, JTB)
Lolo, Carrigan, JFH (Matto*, E.Katoa, Fermor)
Cleary (Averillo)
Munster (Luai*)
Nofo, Lomax, Yeo, Staggs (Talau, HTF, Burbo)
Teddy (Ponga*)

Thinking HTF>DCE via Averillo and JTB to dual nuff (Moretti).

Thoughts?

Nickinabin31

Damian cook POD captiancy option this week

King Gutho

My biggest regret of the season captain cook last week

TurkeySnow

Would be shades of my, POD Ponga C last week!

fcttb

Will certainly be a POD move, as not many will put the “C” on him. I wouldn’t do it if I had him….
After round 11 he had a great 4 round draw ahead (stg/bro/nqc/man), and so far scores of 42 and 49 are underwhelming. He tonned up in rnd 6 and rnd 10, so maybe 14 is the next in this sequence

TurkeySnow

what would people do with this: Trying to stay strong in my HvH cash comp. Cook – Mcinnes Haas/Carrigan – Keppie/Nuff Lolo/Tevega/Yeo – Ekatoa/Fermour/Fleg Cleary – Walters Luai – Milf Naden/Staggs/Iku/Nofo – Talau/Lemule/Willame Teddy – Ponga 190k ITB Carrigan could be a servicable FRF option this week with Pangai out for two (had the injury concerns last week), Jo likely goes to an edge. But could grab TKO/Papali via Fleg Iku has a high be against storm, but had a HIA another low game for Roosters, Do they come good? Milf/Walters both injured so not vital trade outs but could… Read more »

jettio

I reckon trade out Iku to Papa via Yeo and Carrigan and then Luai to Brown

BroncosGirl

Without doing sums i was also gonna say iku to a 2rf/frf via yeo &/or cartigan and then see what u can do with luai 😉

chukka

5/8 and CTW look like the main spots you’ve got to upgrade. Moving Yeo down will help boost your CTW base. So SJ at 5/8 and the best gun you can afford at either 2RF or FRF (via Carrigan) would be the best H2H strategy this week if I was you.

Backi

If you bring yeo down surely talau doesn’t get a start? I’d be trying to get Bateman unless you’re happy waiting for him to drop money

I don't pray to God; I pray to DCE

Hi, my friend, TS!

If you’re focused on H2H, may I suggest DCE:

8% ownership
73-point average since Turbo’s been out (seven-game sample size)
Has the Tigers, Doggies and Titans for the H2H Finals.

Oh, and I almost forgot – he’s best player in NRL history. 🙂

Epitome7

Who scores more between now and end of the season? (Check the draw of both teams)

TU: Aitken
TD: Nofo

jettio

Pretty close tbh, I love Aitken as a POD tho

Deep Thinker

I actually think Aitken is easily a top 4 ctw.

Annoyed I had other priorities when he was 430k before the run started.

jettio

Who’s your other two top 4 CTWs? Aikten and Kelly would have to be the first two (Best to Kelly this week?)

Hurtlocker

Im guessing nofo as Aitken is due for an injury. i wanted to buy aitken 5 weeks ago but injury’s stopped me (Sigh). Nofo has a hard draw but his base is sooooo good.

fcttb

I’m selling Nofo next week. Tigers draw is terrible after the Dogs game, and syd/pth/mel/par will reduce Nofo’s scoring considerably (as per prev. scores of 40 v pth and 49 v cbr). The Tigers also look worse without Grant, who will miss a few more weeks. Since he hit his straps in rnd 8, Aitken has been more consistent against the top 8 teams or bottom 8 teams, with an excellent base. After this week, the dragons have 3 easy games and then 3 tough ones to finish (but the 2 toughest ones are at home at least). I think… Read more »

jims jokers

Which one would you trade out
TU – JFH
TD – Tino

Masonic Knights

Trade that cost me my season!

Deep Thinker

Grabbing one for the run home. Aubo up in SRF reserves currently so he’s the gateway.

TU: Latrell
TD: Kikau
