I suspect a lot will be going Grant to Cook now.
Hynes youre likely to cop a DNP for 13, 16, 17 and 19 with their bye so you get 3x scores in the next 7 rounds. I can imagine a lot will try and keep him, but if I owned him and Cleary, I would probably be offloading Hynes.
Holmes -> theres so many good CTWs Im not even sure he is a keeper with the Cows heading to the abbatoir.
I can see an argument for Teddy.
I’ve got 6 of those and have only traded Holmes. I can keep Haas, Grant, Cleary, Hynes and Latrell this round and still have 13. However I’ll trade next week if any of them are rested
I have Munster. At this point i’m trading him to Cody and also trading out Haas to Harris. Scared that if I trade out Hynes or Cleary i’ll never get them back!
Campbell Graham has been withdrawn from the NSW squad due to a sternum injury. Would assume that means he won’t be available for the Rabbitohs this weekend, but stranger things have happened in the Origin period
I was about to ask if he’s 18th man can he still end up playing for the Bunnies this week. I guess that looks unlikely now
“It had been expected that Graham would also miss the Rabbitohs’ Round 13 clash against the Raiders, however South Sydney on Monday morning released a statement suggesting Graham will be given every chance to prove his fitness to play in just a handful of days.”
“For a number of weeks, Graham has been managing his training loads at the beginning of each week to allow him to be fit on game day,” Souths said.
Unfortunately, this meant he would not be able to be fully involved in the Blues early sessions this week and, as a result, they withdrew him from the squad.
No way, he is the type of guy who would be happy to run water if he could

Rumours are miller is dropped to cup, Ponga fullback and gamble into 6. Miller has been a liability lately so was worried about it. Miller to Cody walker for me now. Or I could just get Ponga
Gagai is not a great defender and has really struggled this year on that end. I think they feel that he will get found out too much against our centres. HTF has proven he can defend there at origin level.
Who’s that rumour from? It does make sense for ponga back to fullback. Surely Young is the one to be dropped though Miller to wing. Young has been useless in defence this year and leaving the club.

Grant > JMK
Hosking > Ola
Leaves me with 20 trades, $104k itb
JMK – Luke
JDB, Tohu – Tapine, Edwards
Hopgood, Ola, Ford – Fifita, Preston, Schuster
Hynes – Cleary
Brown – Katoa
Garrick, Bird, Marzhew, AJ – Manu, Smith, Howarth
Gutho – Bula
Cleary will get at least 1 rest between now and rd 20 after a game, so he might back up 2/3. He definitely misses 13/16/19 as well. So he probably plays 4/8 games, possibly the one he misses is coverable. Moses plays 6/8, and rd18 is easy to cover, so really only 1/8 games that are tough covers for him which is next week.
I think thats worth a boost assuming you need the extra number for this week and you have 17 for next week already.
I took the risk on ponga at 450k it’s looking very shaky but good signs he’s now at fullback. Already own Cody who is a set and forget must have

Is Dylan Walker worth a buy. I have good debt in the centres. Would sell Val
TU – Buy him, gives $in the bank and can upgrade someone else
TD – Keep Val, look elsewhere
I’ve kept it quiet because it hasn’t really worked, but I’ve had D Walker for the last six weeks. When he moved to 5/8 I thought he was worth a shot, but he hasn’t done much, and now might be back to a utility role.
Don’t expect anything from him. More 30’s than 60’s since I’ve had him.
As much as I’ve been a fan of Tapine, his mid season charge hasn’t begun. Thought he may have had a run across Origin. Big Papa retiring from Origin likely stumps that.
Tohu seems the pick here.

Do I trade a big gun like Trell hynes Cleary or turbo??
I would be thinking of boosting and getting rid of one of the big guns, and using their cash to turn Luke > Cook/Robson/JMK instead of Mahoney. The Holmes trades are good.
This is how I see it, make your own call from here: Cleary will miss 4/8 games, 3 origins and then the Panthers historically rest him and Yeo after at least 1 game if leading the comp. Panthers play last game on Sunday in rd 14, Saturday in rd 17 and Sunday rd 20. Hynes will miss 4/8 games, 3 origins and rd 17. Playing in jersey 14, he should be fully fit to back up other weeks. May not play all 3 origins if NSW lose game 1 they may change their bench. Sharks play Saturday rd 14, Bye… Read more »
You’re a legend with this breakdown
If it wasn’t for turbos negative break even I would sell him . Hynes will back up so I want to keep him. Cleary will probably skip the Saturday game in round 17. Latrell is the one that I think I’m going to chop. High BE, has been lazy good back up full back in taafe
Which one is more of a keeper?
TU: Hopgood
TD: Tohu
Depends on if Tohu stays fit for the rest of the season
Is Kodi Nikorima a better trade-in than JMK? Or will it be a wasted trade down the line to get KNiko out of your team?
There is some slim chance JMK could be kept long term if necessary. Kodi is not a keeper in any case, and could easily end up as a #14 at any time.
JMK is a top 2 HOK option, he is killing it
I think for Luke I would. But if selling Grant I would go JMK.
Excuse my negligence but who is JMK
Jeremy Marshall King
Jeremy Marshall King from Dolphins
Any love for cook going forward after not being named in origin squad? Could be a downgrade option from grant?
A great option. However he could be picked for origin at any point. I like the Bunnies run home though.
He picked up a neck injury too, may not keep him out though
Kodi started the year 4th half in line, behind SOS, Katoa and Milf. Could go back to the bench any week
Early trade thoughts are
Turbo to issako
Hynes to Cody
Hosking to Tohu
If cg plays I will boost so I can get him instead of issako
It’s hard to trade out someone who just scored 160
i know but its him or trell and trell plays 14.
Guy ranked #1 benched Dylan Brown last round. Wow.
Origin players listed. I have 12 for this round so far. Worth trading any of these guys for this period?
Grant
Haas
Fifita
Hynes
Cleary
Holmes
Teddy
Holding Teddy with roosters needing wins so he will play and they have later games.

I have Munster. At this point i’m trading him to Cody and also trading out Haas to Harris. Scared that if I trade out Hynes or Cleary i’ll never get them back!
Val would be the one I’d trade to get to 13
The magic number used to calculate breakevens has increased slightly this week from 9720 to 9740, making BE’s slightly easier to achieve.
To calculate a breakeven, use the following formula
BE = ( ( Player salary / Magic Number ) x 3 ) – last two scores
eg Munster = ( ( 747100 / 9740 ) x 3 ) – 87 – 35 = 108
Early thoughts
Luke to Robson
Gilbert to Harris
Matterson to Hopgood
Can you afford Cook instead of Robson? Unless you’re going Robson for POD purposes. Cook looks like a decent buy at only $24K more.
Yeah would much prefer Cook but slightly short. I’ll play around with some other options.
Interestingly, Cook not averaging much more than Robson (60.8 vs 57.9). Cook’s highest score this year is 73. He’s not quite the SC force he once was.
Not at all, and Robson doesnt have origin hanging over his head, and he plays rd 16. Very tempting to go Robson isnt it.
robson and grant are a match due to the draw.
Cook and Mahoney are the same if people are scared of holding Grant through origin.
I don’t understand Matto to Hopegood ? Would like both but seems a bit sideways? Is there a reason that I don’t know about?
Matto picked up an injury last game.
Seems like Matto will be sidelined for a while, unless we get news to the contrary
Need to get a rd13-14 playing, mid price CTW this round thinking either:
CNK – TU
Lomax – TD
Anyone else – Comment
Will Penisini ($565K)
Alex Johnston ($581K)
Marzhew ($599K)
These guys are a little on the more expensive side but if you can afford them they may be borderline keepers.
Otherwise you could run Kotono Staggs ($398K) so long as you only want to use him for R13.
Already have Johnson and can’t afford any more rd14 bye players but Staggs at under 400k is a good shout
Farnworth?
Is due for a sin bin this week.
TU: Damien Cook
TD: Jeremy Marshall-King
I’m leaning Cook due to similar upside in a better team for 100k cheaper
Mm yeah that 100K could prove handy to make moves around these byes and late scratch-outs due to origin turn-around.
NRL Physio
Campbell Graham has been withdrawn from the NSW squad due to a sternum injury. Would assume that means he won’t be available for the Rabbitohs this weekend, but stranger things have happened in the Origin period
I was about to ask if he’s 18th man can he still end up playing for the Bunnies this week. I guess that looks unlikely now
Suspect he plays this weekend (from news.com.au):
“It had been expected that Graham would also miss the Rabbitohs’ Round 13 clash against the Raiders, however South Sydney on Monday morning released a statement suggesting Graham will be given every chance to prove his fitness to play in just a handful of days.”
OK that’s good news! Keen to bring him in. But also wary if he’s not 100%
Sounds promising. Further snippet:-
“For a number of weeks, Graham has been managing his training loads at the beginning of each week to allow him to be fit on game day,” Souths said.
Unfortunately, this meant he would not be able to be fully involved in the Blues early sessions this week and, as a result, they withdrew him from the squad.
Link: https://shorturl.at/pzCU0
Tin foil hat moment but I reckon if he was picked in the starting side he wouldn’t be withdrawing.
That was my initial thought. He probably deserved to be in the starting team (wing or centre).
Probably unlucky to miss the left wing spot that JAC nabbed, same as Crichton. Turbo saved his spot yesterday too.
Absolutely, I’d say it’s his FU to the blues personally should have been in the centres over Turbo for sure, guys been best back in the comp nearly.
No way, he is the type of guy who would be happy to run water if he could
Rumours are miller is dropped to cup, Ponga fullback and gamble into 6. Miller has been a liability lately so was worried about it. Miller to Cody walker for me now. Or I could just get Ponga
Ponga becomes an instant trade in at fb at that price.
I like Gagai too. Slater dropping him is so dumb.
Gagai is not a great defender and has really struggled this year on that end. I think they feel that he will get found out too much against our centres. HTF has proven he can defend there at origin level.
Gagai has been part of how many Origin winning teams? I would’ve picked him, and I’m glad Qld didn’t.
There is a reason Ponga is cheap, he has only played 2 80min games all year
would u gamble on gamble … cheap cover…p lays 13 and 16 …
He’s not really in a position that you want cheap cover though, unfortunately.
Who’s that rumour from? It does make sense for ponga back to fullback. Surely Young is the one to be dropped though Miller to wing. Young has been useless in defence this year and leaving the club.

Hosking > Tofu
Still undecided on who gets punted for Hopgood
TU: Smith > Hopgood (60K left)
TD: Hammer > Hopgood (202K left)
Comment: Val > Hopgood (321K)
Its Val or Hammer for me, and I am leaning Val purely on draw.
Hammer less of a keeper
I agree with that, I would be selling both in coming weeks, but I would sell Val first, personally.
Grant – Luke
Tapine, Tohu – Keppie, Iszac
Fifita, Nikora, Hosking – Preston, Ford, Schuster
Hynes – Cleary
Brown – Katoa
Mulitalo, Isaako, Holmes, Garrick – Manu, AJ, Croker
Gutherson – Bula
Looking at trading:
Grant➡Cook
Katoa➡Walker
Holmes➡Nuff
Thoughts?
Don’t mind it tbh, still allows you to have 13 as well.
Boost week
Val, MKing, Munster, Cleary >> Ponga, Tohu, DBags, Moses
Keep an eye on your numbers for next week. Boosting Cleary out is a risk
Cleary will get at least 1 rest between now and rd 20 after a game, so he might back up 2/3. He definitely misses 13/16/19 as well. I dont mind that call. Goodluck with it !
