Personally. I would have went Haas / Vaughan (averaging massive metres, making lots of tackles). Then Murray / Sims / Yeo as picked. Bench of Klemmer / Saifiti and Paulo. We have gone with a tiny, ball-playing 13 as our starting FRF. Then we have a secondary edge player who starts on the bench when his team has their full squad as our #17?
As a NSW supporter, I have a bad feeling about this campaign. Qld will keep it simple and Munster (if passed fit) will do the rest. I feel Freddy tries to be too clever at times.
I’m hoping Freddy’s trying to get ahead with the enforcement of the rules. Cleary and Bellamy have adapted the fastest and look how they’ve done. But if they don’t carry on reffing like this nsw could be in trouble
As as NSW supporter I’ve had a bad feeling about every campaign since the early 1980s! Qld are like the All-Blacks – it doesn’t matter what sort of team they have, they always play it with their hearts and souls! Good luck to them, as it makes for a great spectacle every year. But let’s be honest – come on Cockroaches!!! 🙂
I don’t understand how a bench player can make origin, isn’t origin supposed to be the best 17 possible players in the state, Liam Martin got picked cause he plays for Penrith no other reason
He will have a huge BE after back-to-back 40s and may not be a keeper given the competition for minutes in their pack. I wish i had avoided him a few weeks back.

Honestly Kelly only scores well when Fifta is out
Ball get to Fifta and that’s where it stays both weeks he was out Kelly scored well
You’ve got a great team for round 13 as is. If I had that team, I’d start planning for 17, for which you’ve got nobody. Find a round 17 centre you like and switch one of your centres to FB.
If you can find a replacement you like, it might be worth offloading Uto if he isn’t selected and/or Ofa because they won’t be in your 17 again this year, where Welch would be.
If Turbo is your second trade, you should be able to do that.
Actually, you may not have a fullback for round 14 without a trade with Walsh facing suspension and Turbo doubtful to back up two days after Origin.
You don’t need gold. You’ll find it in the help section on the site, under Team Editing & Trades
SUPER TRADE WEEK – Between rounds 15 and 16 (two-week representative break), there will be a KFC SuperCoach Super Trade Week, where you’ll be able to make up to FIVE player trades to refresh your team for the remainder of the season and the looming KFC SuperCoach league Finals Series.
With Clifford arriving in town and Pearce not to far away, not sure I can see Watson playing in the halves. Hopefully a couple of big weeks means he’ll make a bit more cash before he needs to be sold.
Thought it was only a minor strain? He looked very good the other week so I think he may be Manly’s 5/8 going forward. If I was going to get rid of Schuster it would be for Nikorima after round 14.
The best guy is injured. Currently:
BSmith over Origin and with no Grant. Played well last two weeks with Hynes and hopefully form continues. You’d be looking at trading out later in the year so he isn’t just sitting on your bench. So beware he may cost you two trades if you want to get rid of him.
BHunt is a decent POD at HOK pending Origin.
Yeah the problem is while useful at the moment, BSmith and Bunt aren’t keepers. Cook and Api haven’t set the world on fire, Grant has had injury and minute concerns and Brailey and Mahoney have slowed down.
I wouldn’t be holding Adam past round 17 so think it is a wasted trade as you’ll have to use another later on. Smith is a hold not a buy IMO.

Can someone please talk me out of trading Turbo this week?
He has a 2 day turn around after SOO G1 and G3.
With his history, I doubt he plays many mins if he does back up.
Selling him would net me Gutho and another R13 gun.
Playing overall, and have not managed to save many trades.
Which is the concern. As I see Turbo in my team at the end.
Risk it for the biscuit?
Even if Turbo plays those two games, he will almost certainly not play 80, and will probably also be told by Des to manage his workload (which is what I assume was the case last night). He will get a monster score or two over the origin period, but there is also increased risk for injury.
The Turbo trade is a reward for those that have managed to save a bunch of trades. If you’ve maxed traded I don’t see it as an option. Especially because your final 2 fullbacks will be two out of Turbo, Papy, Teddy. I said earlier that Manly will 100% want to rest him, but it might not be an option given they need to keep winning.
Serious consideration for me. I have Watson and Brailey at Hooker and Munster at 5/8. My other 5/8 is Schuster. Looking at Munster out, Watson to 5/8, Hunt in. Was going to hang onto Munster for longer but his foot injury seems to be lingering, and if he plays Origin there would be doubts he would back up, especially with how well Hynes can run the show for the Storm games. And………Im looking at banking cash for a Barnett to Tohu/Fifita trade in R14.
Pretty good selection for most coaches. Round 13 target. Bring him in at HFB for Swalker then trade Watson (assuming HOK) somewhere in between 14-17 and have the option of Hunt up to HOK or whichever HOK has become the go-to.
Possibly worth it if you’re trading in for Sam Walker
edit- to address your question, plays well against the Broncs but can’t recall specifically how he bounces back from being dropped. He is a confidence player but can’t imagine he was expecting to get picked.

Yes. I have him but would buy at that price and for a Munster swap. 1 score under 83 in the last 8 games and has a pretty good run coming up. Lock it in.

My 1,235 sees me only winning 4 from 10 leagues. Average across them, which have some high ranked players including 2 top 20, 3 ranked 21 to 100, 5 from 101 to 500 and a further 8 501 to 1000 and additional 39 top 5000. Calling it early. We have just given QLD Origin again.
Pick an awesome, super creative backline…and don’t pick forwards that will dominate the middle…instead we go creative there too.
Thoughts?
Looking at that pack I can’t think who’d else I’d bring in?
You’d think Haas starts ahead of Jurbo.
Jurbo started last year
If Klemmer had been picked id be calling for Freddy to be sacked. And he’ll probably cop a ban.
Looks like Freddy’s gonna start expansive, tire there big guys out then hammer through the middle.
As a NSW supporter, I have a bad feeling about this campaign. Qld will keep it simple and Munster (if passed fit) will do the rest. I feel Freddy tries to be too clever at times.
PS – hopefully I’m wrong
I’m hoping Freddy’s trying to get ahead with the enforcement of the rules. Cleary and Bellamy have adapted the fastest and look how they’ve done. But if they don’t carry on reffing like this nsw could be in trouble

I personally would have loved it if TPJ was in the side, I enjoy fire crackers but all I see is blue. Let’s go Blues.
Matterson most bought this week?
Is he not facing a ban?
Matto issued with fine: https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/05/28/round-12-charges/
Beautiful! Cheers
He will have a huge BE after back-to-back 40s and may not be a keeper given the competition for minutes in their pack. I wish i had avoided him a few weeks back.
Honestly Kelly only scores well when Fifta is out
Ball get to Fifta and that’s where it stays both weeks he was out Kelly scored well
honestly Dfaf recieved no ball today, Titans halves and hookers are a shambles
BRAILEY – WATSON
LENUI – UTO – PANGAI – Welch
MATTERSON – OFA – SMITH – Curran – Crichton – Fifita
GAMBLE – Cleary
BURTON – Walker
HYNES – LAUIRE – NOFO – KELLY – STAINES – ROBERTS – To’o
Turbo – Walsh
Welch to Papalii
Turbo to ?
Gutho ? has New, Tigs & Dogs coming up.
Norman ? has Broncs & Dogs, earn some cash and those DPP options could be fun to play around with.

I’m considering Doueihi (but the Tigers do have a tough draw after this week)
Stupid question time. As I don’t have Gold, when is the five trade week?
Between the big bye rd when all teams have a break, rd 15-16 I think
You don’t need gold. You’ll find it in the help section on the site, under Team Editing & Trades
Thanks, M.C. I’ve only been to round-15 once in the last five years.
more updates to come?
Scores should be final I updated late lastnight
non owner but where is burtons lb for his try
it was from a cleary strip. defensive line not set
pk and what about nofos intercept? non owner
yeh im not sure about that one.
Nofo already has points for an intercept. Or did he take two?
they just gave him his points my score went up 5 points
After this week what are the chances AOB realizes to win games you need Watson and Barnett on the field?
My Barnett – CHN trade is stilled locked and loaded for round 14 however. If Watson manages to play big minutes we could stash him as a depth cover?
With Clifford arriving in town and Pearce not to far away, not sure I can see Watson playing in the halves. Hopefully a couple of big weeks means he’ll make a bit more cash before he needs to be sold.
Friz injury could mean barnett to edge Watson back to lock
I’ve decided to discontinue asking questions that involve up and down choices, so up and down votes will no longer have any bearing on my posting.
Is it me or are the scorers just guessing the panthers ts tries? could be cleary may be luai next day its burtons?? its like they just guess lol
Who is the best option at hooker, I currently have Watson and Simpkin. There seriously doesn’t look like any other good options.
brailey
Not convinced tbh, he got sub 60 with a try assist last night.
He’s averaged 71 so far this season. Seems like a keeper to me.
Calker and Schuster, so thinking maybe Watson is a keeper at HOK?
Thought it was only a minor strain? He looked very good the other week so I think he may be Manly’s 5/8 going forward. If I was going to get rid of Schuster it would be for Nikorima after round 14.

BHunt is a decent POD at HOK pending Origin.
Yeah thinking Grant is a must have for the run home. May just hold Watson until after SOO.
Yeah the problem is while useful at the moment, BSmith and Bunt aren’t keepers. Cook and Api haven’t set the world on fire, Grant has had injury and minute concerns and Brailey and Mahoney have slowed down.
Becoming a problem slot.
That’s another good point. Realistically should only be looking at bringing in keepers at this point
Considering Turbo-Douhei, Luai-Brandon Smith trades using Watson. Turbo has bad recovery times and Grant may need a rest over origin.
Not big on Doueihi, Tigers have a hard run upcoming.
I wouldn’t be holding Adam past round 17 so think it is a wasted trade as you’ll have to use another later on. Smith is a hold not a buy IMO.

Hunt misses Origin
Serious consideration for me. I have Watson and Brailey at Hooker and Munster at 5/8. My other 5/8 is Schuster. Looking at Munster out, Watson to 5/8, Hunt in. Possibly worth it if you’re trading in for Sam Walker

Lucy and Klem the big hits for round 13 coverage
Had Lucy from the start and that shits me out for 13 …
Decent back up 4th 2rf I might hold
Prices have changed, scores are final
Nicho just shy of $900k
Might be worth $1m before we flip him
Is IPap worth 700k? Thinking of going Munster to him this week as my one and only trade.
