Congrats Dezz – you are a well deserved winner!
Well done Walson. Great effort to keep Dezz honest right to the end.
Great effort to all you guys and gals that finished top 10, top 1000 and achieved PB’s.
Onto next year!
…and the best bit for me was that Dezz and Walson were happy to bounce ideas of each other for most of the year but went down 2 different paths to get ranked 1 and 2.
Well done all!!

Well I thought I blew it with the last minute captain switch of Cleary to Fifita. Pretty much sums up my year. Captains and luck. Thanks everyone for a great year. It’s been fun. A big congrats to Dezz and Walson. Both deserving of their positions.
Looking forward to battling it out with you all again next year. Im expecting to see even more of us Sc talk early birds and flockers up the top. Catch you all in Feb. Cheers
You definitely had an awesome year, well done finishing inside the top 10 mate. Thanks for all the help you’ve provided to people this year well, all the best
I’ll have time off for now as my brain needs a rest from anything Fantasy lol but I will have another go at the Big Bash League cricket when starts later in year. Was my 1st year playing that last season.
Contact Watson Mort, as we are creating a league next year from the guys there on the weekend. We provided all our email addresses to Monty, who has since sent one, and we can swap mobiles through there….Monty is chasing your email address

1244 rockets me from rank 1198 to 713! Looked bleak heading into sunday but C Cleary single-handedly helped me achieve my goal of top 1k this year. Congrats to all the SC Talk boys who find themselves a little bit richer (or a lot if you’re Dezz) this afternoon.
I don’t know what to do but my partner sure is pleased it’s over

Personally ended up having a decent finish, not as good as last year. Whilst we all knew that this site was generally good at supercoach, it’s rare to see this many people on the site hold as many of the key ranks as they did this year.
Excited for next year already, but for now, the way the finals have shaped up should make it entertaining viewing and I have a feeling it will be one of the more memorable finals series.

A big thanks to all you wonderful people out there! I finished at 447, best finish ever. I have to thank you all for so much helpful advice and information! See you next season! Such a pity last week was such a disaster! Also, pity the Tigers chose to play one of their worst games with so much at stake!

5708 SC (meh year)
102 Real dream team ( meh year)
305 Fantasy … happy with that …
Not happy about SC .. usually Round the 2000 ish mark…
Worst year in Dream team ever…
102 in there is like 65,000 in SC…
Fantasy I am happy , down 70 spots from last year but I went to hard in the bye Rd’s and burnt out..
Some nice finishes there mate ,well done !
Thanks rockafella. You play the fantasy game well, I only caught onto the right way to play this year. I’m very happy with the results but as I was saying to Waston at the meetup yesterday, it’s bitter sweet SC wise. Bitter because I was in the top ten but fell away at the end. Sweet because I beat my PB by 250 placings. Like you said DT looks better than what it is due to the numbers and only beat my PB by three placings. The previous PB of 19 is actually better than this years 16th because I… Read more »

Best year to date. H2H only, won 3 cashies and finished 60th overall with no bye planning. Congrats all on their wins especially Dezz. Another year done an dusted.
This post above from gareth is probably going to be a pretty underrated post – it’s a reminder to all that retaining a good squad, and hitting the right POD’s and right cheapies/mid rangers in the middle of the season is at least as important as good bye planning and the right initial team
I first learnt this then when I came 200th in 2012, with zero bye planning, so it can be done!
Nice work mate, I still had 2 trades left for the final round, but brought in Croker (!!!) as my second trade after the Turbo to Papy trade! And left Sivo on my NPR’s…

Ok guys I’m in a bit of a pickle. Still can’t decide on who to captain for the opening round next year..
It’ll be all dependent on what players/positions offer the best value. Considering that Papenhuyzen will be a near must-have, and the potential of a cheapie option, FB could end up being a similar to HK.
Just like this season, I’ll be staying away from Teddy until midseason/post-Origin.

Thought I was having a rest until BBL starts for Supercoach, just discovered SC Stables has started, opened yesterday. My team, Designated Drunks, will setup some leagues and share once I get to computer at work. Giddy up!
Well done Dezz!!! Wahooo!!! 🙂

ouch !!!! butt hurt
You still might get $1000 as Flock ranked 10th not eligible for cash as he Resides in NZ and not eligible for cash
and me in 8th.
I await with interest
Ouch….that will hurt
yea it’s pretty gutting if it falls that way.
esp as the other fantasy comps are open to NZ
If you and Flock don’t get the cash it’s a disgrace. The warriors are in the NRL. Why not let people from NZ who follow the NRL win the prize?
Oh man 🙁 As much as I hope this is the case for me – I hope it isn’t for your case!!

Far out is like me thinking I blew it the other week. Glad you still made top 10 🙂
Absolutely beaming with 8th overall. Can’t believe it .
Thanks to this site and also the SC Champions pod which were my main sources. And thanks to lady luck when she was with me.
I hope no-one lost money on that Xerri joke of a call tho
Congrats POD Hunter. Something for us to be proud of 🙂
Incredibly last round by you
I ended up losing my overall comp by 3 points because of the xerri bs and lost the 2.5k prize…
What sport is everyone transitioning into now, the fantasy frustration and satisfaction must always continue
NBA for myself. Usually jump on the NFL as well taking a rest this season, just gonna be way too invested in the World Cup
NBA also. Draft in a months time!
I’ll have time off for now as my brain needs a rest from anything Fantasy lol but I will have another go at the Big Bash League cricket when starts later in year. Was my 1st year playing that last season.
The Spring Racing Carnival, where I can make some cash 😉
SC Spring Racing. Get on!
I should have got your mobile Occy for some tips. 😉

5708 SC (meh year)
102 Real dream team ( meh year)
305 Fantasy … happy with that …
Well done rockafella, especially in Fantasy, here is how I went in the three of them;
102 SC
16 DT
868 Fantasy
They were my PB in all three.
Not happy about SC .. usually Round the 2000 ish mark…
Worst year in Dream team ever…

Think you’d also find a bunch of highly ranked players who heavily factored bye planning. There’s no magic recipe for this
That’s right Serc. I had a good amount of trades left for the last 4 rounds which aloud me to trade:
Munster > Moses (99 points) Rd 22
Gutho & Taupau > Barnett & Watson ( Both Tonned up) Rd 24
Turbo & Bateman > Pappy & Aitken (85 & 86 respectively) Rd 25
Nice work mate, I still had 2 trades left for the final round, but brought in Croker (!!!) as my second trade after the Turbo to Papy trade! And left Sivo on my NPR’s…

Ok guys I’m in a bit of a pickle. Still can’t decide on who to captain for the opening round next year..
TU: Tedesco
TD: Turbo
Comment: Paperhouses
Thanks!
Round 1 Cook for safety
I’m not sure i want Cook next year at that price. There is ALOT of value at Hooker.
fainu, bbrailey starting combo. Potentially
Jokes aside… That’s it, seems like you’ll be better off ‘investing’ at hooker next year and spending more on FB to kickstart the season
Just like in RL. Fullbacks have become much more relevant (more input/pts)
It’ll be all dependent on what players/positions offer the best value. Considering that Papenhuyzen will be a near must-have, and the potential of a cheapie option, FB could end up being a similar to HK.

I’ll be in PB
Count me in as well PB. $25k and unlimited trades looks entertaining
Hey lads don’t suppose top 1000 get keyring this year lol
Haha I sure hope we do but don’t get your hopes up, you’ll only get hurt 😥 😥
Papenhausen 36 points in 80… he is human. Anyone still here?
