A lot of people have SJ within the top end so Keary could pay off for you if the weather impacts SJ game or not imo. It’s risky but Rooters need a win big time, I personally expect to see a good showing from Keary and the Roosters.

    Another dilemma
Sell Xerri or Nikora to the smiling assassin Manu Mau??

Nikora. I would keep xerri on matchups and his ceiling is massive, already shown he can go big.

    This.

One of the important qualities of a matchup ctw is a high ceiling. Xerri has that, Nikora doesn’t.

I agree but sharks dont have too many favourable matchups imo

NQ, Dragons and Warriors all at home.

Note that Sharks also play every single game after this round in Sydney – so no flights and much better recovery between games = less fatigue on those short turnaround games

Keep in mind Xerri does have a high ceiling but with his run home I can only see maybe 2 games I would definitely play him. He has cracked 100 twice has 3 scores of 60+ and 8 scores under 50. One of those is injury effected but he scores under 50 60% of the time.

Warriors and Tigers at home in day games are excellent fixtures.

Dragons and Cowboys are good fixtures.

    Panthers are an alright fixture.

So that’s 4/5 maximum to play him in. That’s more than enough. Most will have 2/3 centres playing week in week out (e.g. Bateman) and then another 3/4 rotating through the other 1/2 spots.

If I had to play Xerri/nikora in those 5 games, I’d rather Xerri every day of the week.

Tigers and Dragons are the only ones I’d 100% play him. Cowboys it would depend what side, but they don’t let many points in down the left. Warriors average 56 to right 2RF (Nikora) and Cowboys avg 67. Both those games I would choose Nikora over Xerri.

But to each their own, gotta workout your own strategy.

    Absolutely.

Those matchups look good for Nikora but one score above 60 since round 9 isn’t pretty reading.

AFB only with 9000 owners – I was a bit surprised when I saw that. 66 Average (2nd overall for a FRF), why is his ownership so low?

Because most people just stick with tapau, Fifi and haas as FRF. Plus the owners would’ve jumped on him early when he was fairly cheap

Never mind that, the real question is why aren’t I playing him this weekend?
*checks team to see who I can leave out instead of AFB*

He’s owned by 34 of the top 100. Realistically an 18th-20th man for most of those teams I would think

His big score came in round 10. Which meant 2 rounds to get him in for the bye. People may have preference others, and if you didn’t get him in then the boat had sailed.

I own him and happily play him a lot of weeks. But he has a lot of middling scores between 50-60 with the odd massive score to pump his average. I think he is clearly a tier below Fifita and Haas

Afb has 5 games under 60. Fifita has 7. One was injury so 6.

Maybe in years gone he may have been but he’s showing keeper scores with the ability to hit 100s

    Fun Fact:

The top 100 teams contain 21 Bulldogs players –

    20 x Jared Anderson
1 x CHN (unfortunately me this week!)

another fun fact, Dogs are one of the worst teams for a nuff in terms of when they play in each round through to r25.

Only play 1 Sunday game; and only play twice on the late Saturday game

Unfortunately Anderson is the only viable CTW/2RF nuff. The VC is just going to have to be a Thursday/Friday player every week…

    Who to play this week:
    TU: SJ
    TD: Moses
Comment: play both and bench tevaga

If I was in your position and protecting a lead I’d be playing it safe with Jazz as both SJ (wet track) and Moses (playing Manly @ lottoland) could flop this week.

    But tough decision mate

Good luck mate. I’m boarding a flight from San Fran to Sydney now so I’m going dark for 16 hours. Killing me given I’m death riding a stack of players tonight..

Nikora for a safeish 40-60, Guth for the ceiling and 20-100… Depends what you are after.

I’m playing Nikora out of necessity this week FWIW, so I hope he goes well.
