While JFH is fit atm, Sam has the higher upside if you can hold and he comes back 70 playing simialr to start theseason and 80min. Souths will need him.

Wasnt that impressive his opening 8 scores where – 68, 129, 50, 77, 54, 58, 46, 69, 72. 5 of those games under 80min and the 46 including a HIA.
Yes he scored some tries in there but he was Cooks go to guy on the right, Arey is out as well. Even his 50, 54, 58 without tries is solid for an edge back rower IMO.

If JHughes plays 5/8 in Round 16 as is predicated what do you think happens to his SC score compared to games at FB?
Probably helps him going on the only sample we have this year. He was on about 10 points before switching to the halves at the 28th min in rd 13.

Trades look good although could take a punt on Manu over Aitkin.

I think you need to get some perspective on that comment Rocka. The womens state of origin has been around for only 20 years, they had their first NRL premiership with only 4 teams in it last year and there’s only been 5 world cups. The quality is very high for the limited amount of matches they’ve been able to play in.
C’mon the standard is low but we’re all saying positive things about it because it was a woman’s game rather than a men’s game. Now that type of double standard, based solely on gender, is sexist!

Am I crazy to think about trading Murray to Chrichton? Think they’re similar players in the fact they both needing attacking stats to score well, although Chrichton has the advantage of 80 minutes. And with everyone owning Murray I’m thinking of a bit of a POD move and an extra R16 number to try sneak up the rankings a bit.
Crichton is not at the Roosters as an attacking player. His role is similar to the one Luke Ricketson and Craig Fitzgibbon played. Defending with the 5/8th and the occasional try.
Trading out Murray temporarily can make sense. It does for my team.
I don’t like the Angus trade in though. Looks a shadow of the player from souths. Some is due to lack of service (Radley can’t pass left to right), some is due to Roosters heavily favoring their left side; and some seems to be motivation.
Maybe not Murray to Angus but surely Angus is worth some consideration, somewhere. A solid 53 avg is alright and he’ll now play Rd16 which gives him an extra game. I’m thinking Waddel to Angus

Just a quick thought on the womans soo, look not comparing them to men’s skill wise obviously but woman’s sport takes a hard rap for no real reason. forget about skill, compare the conduct of the players, ash barty vs nick kyrgios, the southern stars vs say dave warner, while aus woman sport is not comparable at a skill level i think they way they contact themselves almost emulate the men in some ways. Im not a fan of all womens sports but damn i find womens rugby entertaining. Something about the big girls hitting it up just appeals to me ha. The skill and speed may not be quite the same but there is still damn solid contact and that means a fun watch in my books

I think you might be a little to focused on making cash over points if you don’t mind me saying. Here’s my reasons, you already have to much money to spend yet you are trading in Shibasaki and Manu. They are both money grabs with Manu a chance of a good score in R16. You have a good opportunity here to get a jump on those ranked around you by bringing in 5 guns. For what it’s worth, my advise is to make the most of this opportunity and bring in 5 guns.
Also with that much cash there is no need to trade out Murray who is the 2nd best backrower behind Lolo. He wasn’t rested after game one but did play about 10 mins less last week.
Murray is a gut call. Gotta make some of those if going to make up some points. Players will get rested after origin 3 and maybe even origin 2. Carnage will happen!
And I think you’ll find a heap of teams have 1million in the bank. Haven’t tried to do that, it’s just that the cows have been awesome this year. My problem has been life getting in the way of Supercoach… How dare it!

Can’t compare them with men.

Wow you’ve got some interesting choices within your squad. Lucky you have that massive bank roll to fix it. Firstly do not trade Nikora or Xerri. They are CTW keepers for the run home. Herbert is the one to go this week with his 70+ BE so you can trade him > Maumalo or Mitchell. Secondly, RTS is a hold until you require both Teddy & Tommy T which will be after Rd 16. I think you might be a little to focused on making cash over points if you don’t mind me saying. Here’s my reasons, you already have to much money to spend yet you are trading in Shibasaki and Manu. They are both money grabs with Manu a chance of a good score in R16. You have a good opportunity here to get a jump on those ranked around you by bringing in 5 guns. For what it’s worth, my advise is to make the most of this opportunity and bring in 5 guns.
Also with that much cash there is no need to trade out Murray who is the 2nd best backrower behind Lolo. He wasn’t rested after game one but did play about 10 mins less last week.
Murray is a gut call. Gotta make some of those if going to make up some points. Players will get rested after origin 3 and maybe even origin 2. Carnage will happen!
And I think you’ll find a heap of teams have 1million in the bank. Haven’t tried to do that, it’s just that the cows have been awesome this year. My problem has been life getting in the way of Supercoach… How dare it!

Good choice OTB. I think Martin can up his PPM to about 5. So if he gets 20mins off the bench he averages 100 which is far superior to Jurbo. No brainer for mine
I think it’s a slight upgrade given their recent form. Darius 52 last week, Teddy with the donut. Stats basically speak for themselves. Trade up and bank the cash
