Isaako has been disappointing this year too. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bird plays fullback next year but Boyd will keep derping it up for the rest of this year.
It happened with SMat 2 years ago. His score changed but not his price. He got denied a try assist on reviews but they didn’t award him a last touch. It was a clear cut mistake which the muppets had to admit they stuffed up. Good luck with your Cotric LB dispute, hopefully they can give Mau one also.
Is Matto a must ?
I was looking at his scores and he seems to need a assist or a try to get to that magic 65+ score ..
I just wonder if he can keep that consistency up for the whole year ..

Had him since day one….the worst is when that injury plagued Benji gets hurt during games and he has to fill in.

The problem is the backrow scoring has been poor this year compared to others and murray/ matto are in the mix due to attacking stats , gone are the CP13 Gal days
perhaps that’s a sign of the times. if there are no 80 minute, huge base workload players anymore; and (for whatever combination of rules, fitness, attacking structures etc reasons) edge back rowers are more reliably getting attacks stats… then load up with edge back rowers reliably getting attacking stats
i’m not giving up hope . I’m playing L Martin and hoping he has that Merrin/Gal type of workrate and offloads hahaha , well at least for round 15 anyway and il move him on if it was just a fantasy , until then i have hope ahha. you are right though , it looks like the lock role is changing
Speaking of Fitz what has happened to him? He could never keep up those attacking stats from 2018 but he has fallen down in a big way. Is it because of a change in the knights attacking structure?

Nice side Andy. IMO if your H2H then there’s no need to make sideways trades. You will want the full 8 trades going into semi’s to create/negate pods if you have to. Young > Nuff is good to generate cash. Marsters > Latrell is a solid upgrade. JFH > Anyone is a little sideways but his scores have dropped since moving to prop so Wallace is a good POD while Arrow is out and AFB/MartyT are also solid. Thanks for the advice. I’ve traded out Arrow and kept CNK but not sure if Cam Smith is going to slow down at the end of the season so i may look to mcinnes if his price drops heaps.

I don’t mean you – I mean me 😛 On a serious note: I don’t think using maximum trades will do you any favours. The odds are, one round isn’t going to get you further ahead. You could end up misfiring on a couple of players and it’ll just be fewer trades for the run home. Almost everybody that’s in distance will be definitely using maximum trades, and that’s the advantage you’ll have over them on the run home (all dependent on how many trades you have left, of course). Catfish did something similar to this I think. Took a hit in the final bye rd and saved a couple of trades. There is probably no right or wrong. All I know is if Dez has a 200+ lead after rd 17 it’s almost going to be impossible to run him down.
Right now you have 17 of what I would call my final 20 plus Fergo and TPJ. That gives you a lot of wiggle room to trade Fifi back in since your team is already sorted. As long as you have a plan to get him back like Waddell to a quick cash grab you should be fine to trade him.
Let everyone catch up! Nah in all seriousness if I was you I’d go hard and try and stay ahead of the pack. That’s what I’m doing myself. Just make sure you save a few trades to nullify any potential pods the guys chasing you might have.
Assume that most within chasing distance will all be running with the so called top rnd 16 guns ( same 10 – 12 players). Would need a great low captain play or to have at least a few POD plays. All depends on how many points you are willing to concede. Having spare trades in the back pocket can help bring in that form player that others cannot or at least match a potential POD. Remember there will still be 9 rounds to go after the bye. Plenty can still happen.
Just my opinion here but as your coming 1st I think your priorities have to shift. You have the advantage you don’t really have to create more of it to win at this stage its up to the rest of us to match you The wisest course of action theoretically imo is to nullify any threats from teams close to you (if they pick a pod player one week you can trade them in to negate any pts adavntage they could possibly get). Let them come to you mate – no guarantees that blokes you trade in perform. Could catch an early HIA and you have wasted trades. Keep a few up your sleeve. You are in a great spot

Although I think he is still a better option there at least in defence. Boyd to the centres and drop Shiba would be my favoured approach.
I know they have changed players’ scores after a round has been finalised in the past, do they also change that players price?

Only correction I recall is Mahoney and his price was not able to be corrected, despite the points being adjusted.

8 is pretty good imo. I think fielding more than 12-13 is not a good idea – but I’d trade hard to make sure you field at least 11.

I think Woods gets eased back in, he has barely played any first grade this year – match fitness will be low.
The other concern is his impact drops starting instead of coming from the bench.
