Weather notes: Cold conditions tonight in Bathurst. No dew expected in Newcastle and Bathurst tonight.

 

Note: All times are local. Panthers vs Cowboys is at Bathurst.

 

FridayFine weather is expected in Newcastle for the early evening match. A moderate breeze, coupled with a very dry airmass, will result in no dew forming on the playing surface as the game goes on. So essentially this will be like a day game.

FridayWhile there was a brief shower or two late this morning in Bathurst (bringing 1mm of rain), fine weather has developed this afternoon and will continue tonight. Similar to Newcastle there will be a very dry southwesterly breeze, allowing little to no dew to form on the playing surface. It will also be quite cold, with game temperatures in the high single figures – this will be a little out of the ordinary for the Cowboys players.
