The SC Weather Report – Round 18

Weather notes: All remaining games this weekend are expected to see fine weather, which should hopefully make for some good conditions for SC points!

Once a few more weeks have gone by, I’ll definitely be looking at how far below average Sydney in particular has been for rain this footy season, as I’ve been writing a lot more fine forecasts than usual so far!

Note: All times are local.

SaturdaySunny skies are expected for the Saturday afternoon game at Homebush.

SaturdayFine but chilly weather is expected at Brookvale for the early evening match, with a light breeze allowing for some, but not a large amount of dew on the playing surface.

SaturdayVery cold conditions are expected in Canberra for the Saturday night match. Some dew is expected on the playing surface, but not a large amount.

Last year the Cowboys were expected to play a similarly cold match in Canberra, and I made the mention that they would have never trained in these conditions, let alone played, and they solidly beat the Raiders in the end! So this time I’ll just mention that the temperature should be hovering around freezing by the end of the match, and leave it at that!
