Looking at it more I think it’s simply to reduce and manage his minutes a bit moving into the finals. He’s their 80 min hooker for the finals so they are most likely just protecting him for now.
Tago is going to get decent base no matter what with his hit ups and defensive tackles. Tass also has nice hit ups and attacking upside but vs panthers could be tough. Lomax has lost interest of late. I would have to pick Tago out of that list.

Johnson could go 30 or 100+. Penrith still defend well. As its first game I would wait to see how Murray goes. If he goes big you have another 7 matches to choose a POD to cover him if need be.
I’d still wait to see how Murray goes first then decide. Plenty of other good choices available such as Drinky, Ramien, Suallii, Holmes to name a few. If you have them covered with the rest of the team you may end up saving a trade.
Latrell is in GOAT level form right now. This is some sort of run he’s on. Shades of Barba and Hayne. (sorry to bring up those two women abusers, sadly they’re apart of rugby league history)
I defended you there by saying try’s are his base. With Latrell and Cody in the team that left wing spot will feast whoever plays there.

I am going to play him.
I’m leaning towards playing Koula. Might just lock it in. If api gets say 40 minutes could be a middling score.
I am hearing ya mate. Especially as appears Koula will now be FLB for Manly (who just suck) and that will boost his points, even in a swamped loss.
