Stilesy’s Late Mail – Round 6
Short intro from me this week because I’m on the road for Easter. Hope everyone has a great long weekend, and more importantly, a fantastic SuperCoach round. Don’t forget the adjusted schedule with two Saturday, three Sunday, and one Monday match.
As usual, the updates across the round will be on Twitter @AStilesAuthor
STORM V ROOSTERS, THURSDAY 7:50PM
STORM: Looking settled per TLT heading into round 6. Should be 1-17.
24 HOURS CUTS: Jordan Grant, Howarth, Pezet
ROOSTERS: Sporting an interesting bench but 24 hour cuts suggest 1-17. In some great news, Angus Crichton is one step closer to a return and will suit up next week for the Roosters’ NSW Cup side.
24 HOUR CUTS: Sandon Smith, Wong, Thomas
BULLDOGS V RABBITOHS, FRIDAY 4:05PM
BULLDOGS: I was surprised to see Jacob Preston and Max King named on TLT. Gus has said a decision will be made on both Friday morning. Despite the lack of depth due to injuries, it wouldn’t surprise me to see some game day shuffles in the forwards or the bench make-up.
24 HOUR CUTS: Burns, Oloapu, Davey
RABBITOHS: As usual, I am on the lookout for the game day prop swap but outside that I’m not expecting other changes.
24 HOUR CUTS: Lovett, Karapani, Hawkins
COWBOYS V DOLPHINS, FRIDAY 8:00PM
COWBOYS: The Cowboys were named according to their injuries on TLT so should run out as named.
24 HOUR CUTS: Sadrugu, Finefeuiaki, Burke
DOLPHINS: The Dolphins normally hold firm on game day so another 1-17 likely here.
24 HOURS CUTS:
PANTHERS V SEA EAGLES, SATURDAY 5:30PM
PANTHERS: Penrith look like they’ll run out unchanged.
SEA EAGLES: Josh Schuster is out once again so hit thay reverse trade button. Kaeo Weekes will replace him in the halves. Aaron Woods is on the extended bench but can’t see him making his way into the side at the moment.
BRONCOS V RAIDERS, SATURDAY 7:35PM
BRONCOS: Once again entering the round with a clean bill of health so expecting 1-17. Ezra Mam has been carrying minor knee ane ankle complaints in recent weeks but is fine to play on.
RAIDERS: The Raiders have been holding firm on their named teams so I’ll assume 1-17 again this round.
TITANS V DRAGONS, SUNDAY 4:05PM
TITANS: No changes expected for the Titans at this stage, though I do have eyes on Jojo Fifita on that extended bench.
DRAGONS: Jaydn Su’a was struggling with a calf issue but NRL Physio says it could just be cramps. Either way, he seems to be the only player in doubt at this stage. Seeing the Bird benching a fortnight ago has me wary of game day shuffles in the forwards regardless of Su’a’s availability.
KNIGHTS V WARRIORS, SUNDAY 6:15PM
KNIGHTS: Good news from Barry Toohey that Greg Marzhew and Dom Young are ahead of Hymel Hunt in the pecking order so both are safe trade ins. It wouldn’t surprise to see Kurt Mann start at lock but that is just me speculating.
WARRIORS: Tohu Harris is again a watch this round and likely needs a successful captain’s run to line up. Another Sunday game means another nervous wait for owners.
TIGERS V EELS, MONDAY 4:00PM
TIGERS: Can’t see any changes at this stage.
EELS: A big kick in the proverbial for many SuperCoaches seeing Hopgood benched and Doorey drop out. I don’t see this changing on game day, however rotation/minutes-wise it could be worth holding Hopgood as he could be in line for the Matto role from last year where his minutes and impact could remain constant.
Thanks Stilesy. Safe travels over the Easter long weekend and watch out for those double demerits.
Cheers mate! My wife did the drive so absolutely cheering
I get paid over $220 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I would be able to do it but my best friend earns over $35k a month doing this and she convinced me to try.

Schuster is out…again.
Updated now mate, thank you
Schuster looks an injury prone player, very frustrating for him and Manly ….thanks for the info guys
Love your work Stilesy!
If Jojo Fifita is a late inclusion, who do you think it will be at the expense of? I see they had Sami and Schoupp in the centres the first couple of rounds. Now they’ve got Kelly and Schoupp with Sami on wing. Is Khan in danger?
Hard to say. It’s a real ‘5-into-4’ situation. I’d like to think AKP’s recent form keeps him around. They also have Maumalo when he’s healthy.
Tanner just got named to start in nsw cup which leaves hoffman as 18th man and I guess Hughes gets a bench spot.
I’m thinking no further changes, Fingers crossed preston and king both through to play…
