Stilesy’s Late Mail – Indigenous Round

It is important to firstly acknowledge that this is Indigenous Round, giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the incredible contributions of First Nations People to the game that we love – as either players, fans or family – along with paying respects to the traditional owners of the lands on which the games will be played.

Also, thanks to Lakey and JT for holding the fort last round with the 24 hour and game day Tweets. Much apprecaited fellas. Systems will return to normal this weekend with all the latest coming from @AStilesAuthor across the round.

BRONCOS V PANTHERS, THURSDAY 7:50PM

YUGGERA & TURRBAL BRONCOS: The 24 hour cuts were uneventful so expecting 1-17 here.

24 HOUR CUTS: Piakura, Willison, Pereira

DHARUG PANTHERS: Another standard 24 hour reveal. Zac Hosking didn’t return from a HIA last week but seems good to go. It will be interesting to see if Liam Martin remains on the bench or not when final teams run out.

24 HOUR CUTS: Cogger, Jenkins, Chris Smith

DRAGONS V ROOSTERS, FRIDAY 6:00PM

DHARAWAL & YUIN DRAGONS: Michael Molo was ruled out at first cut and has been replaced at lock by brother Francis.

24 HOUR CUTS: Michael Molo, Musgrove, Max Feagai

EORA & GADIGAL ROOSTERS: Jared Waerea-Hargreaves was ruled out Thursday night. Matt Lodge moves to prop with Nathan Brown joining the bench.

24 HOUR CUTS: Waerea-Hargreaves, Pauga, May

RABBITOHS V EELS, FRIDAY 8:00PM

EORA & GADIGAL RABBITOHS: Not expecting any changes at this stage, the prop-swap seems to have been shelved in recent weeks when their hand has not been forced.

24 HOUR CUTS: Mamouzelos, Shaq Mitchell, Hawkins

DHARUG & BURRAMATTAGAL EELS: Another interesting watch in the forwards given the injury to Shaun Lane, though given Ryan Matterson’s impact off the bench and that Bryce Cartwright played well on the edge earlier in the season, I will assume they stay put. They also secured the services of Joe Ofahengaue but he would not be eligible to play this week.

24 HOUR CUTS: Dunster, Rodwell, Asi

SHARKS V KNIGHTS, SATURDAY 3:00PM

DHARAWAL & GWEAGAL SHARKS: Braden Hamlin-Uele is lurking on the extended bench and could return from his MCL strain. NRL Physio has round 12 on the earlier side of the scale so it could also wait another match.

AWABAKAL KNIGHTS: As usual, a swap at lock on game day would not surprise but outside this, I’m not expecting anything major.

TIGERS V COWBOYS, SATURDAY 5:30PM

DHARAWAL & EORA TIGERS: Joe Ofahengaue is Parramatta-bound so I assume he’ll drop out of the side he no longer plays for. Outside this, they side looks settled.

WULGURUKABA & BINDAL COWBOYS: It will be interesting to see if they find a spot somewhere in the 17 for new recruit Sam McIntyre but outside this I’m not expecting anything major. Jake Granville appearing in the starting lineup is also in the back of my mind each week. The charges against Luciano Leilua were also dropped today, and the NRL has cleared him to return for this game.

DOLPHINS V STORM, SATURDAY 7:35PM

TURRBAL, YUGGERA, NINGY NINGY & KABI KABI DOLPHINS: Brenko Lee has been named to return. Unfortunately the bloke can find a lingering injury but I’ll assume he is playing at this stage.

WURUNDJERI STORM: Big NAS seemed to pick up an injury to every part of him last week so it would not surprise to see him given a week off to recover. I would assume Tui Kamikamica would replace him in the starting side in this scenario (and could do anyway even with Nelson playing). The rest of the side seems good to go.

BULLDOGS V TITANS, SUNDAY 2:00PM

DHARUG, BIDJIGAL/BEDIAGAL BULLDOGS: Josh Addo-Carr had a false start last week but seems good to go this round. Expecting 1-17, though I can also see Ryan Sutton on the extended bench.

YUGAMBEH TITANS: Alofiana Khan-Pereira will be given the round off. Aaron Schoupp will play right centre, Jojo Fifita will shift to the wing and Phillip will switch wings to play outside Brian Kelly. It seems like AKP won’t feature again any time soon.

RAIDERS V SEA EAGLES, SUNDAY 4:05PM

NGUNNAWAL, NGAMBRI & WIRADJURI RAIDERS: There is one constant rule of SuperCoach – you see Tom Starling named to start and you should expect a game day swap. Having said, Ricky has held surprisingly firm with his named sides this year so it could be another 1-17.

CAMMERAYGAL/GAYAMAYGAL & GARIGAL SEA EAGLES: Lots of cattle returning here and any Josh Schuster holders like myself will be hoping for no more false starts to finally get some cash generation going. Expecting no changes at this stage.

Thanks Stilesy. Will be interesting to see where Ofahengaue lines up in the Eels pack given impact on round 13 purchases.

The Pretender

I think he takes Makatoa’s spot, though he probably plays more minutes. Paulo origin, potentially Matto too. We probably wont get a proper look at their non-RCG rotation until rd 15.

LateRingIn

Joe Ofahengaue to Eels could be bad news for Greig owners.

Semisonic

Impact on Luki?

Semisonic

Ugh. Restructure of trades then

Magpies4Eva007

Hi Stilsey. By any chance would you have an email address for Catfish for supercoach purposes?

Magpies4Eva007

Thank you so much Stilsey. I don’t use any of the social media platforms but really need his expertise on the new bye round process.

Professor Fate

Isn’t JWH out?

Magpies4Eva007

I did read somewhere on NRL or Fox website that although he was picked on TLT he will not play.

Rabs85

Taaffe at 14 this week suggests to me he’ll get some minutes at FB this week unless the game is on the line.
