Saturday PlayOn Preview

The PlayOn cash this week is on the Eels v Cowboys game – now this game is being played in Darwin (it should be around 27 deg at game time), as the Eels have sold their home game, and as such the conditions should favour the Cowboys. Let’s take a look at some of the options:

Don’t forget if you’re yet to sign-up to PlayON you can do so here and by following this link you are also supporting the site.

HB – if last week is anything to go by, the Cowboys should smash the Eels, and as such I will be playing either Morgan ($16.3m) or JT ($16.5m) or Te Marie Martin ($13.0m) in this position, depending on who I can fit in with the rest of my side. With Morgan coming off Origin on Wednesday night he would be at the bottom of my list. TMM at the price could be the one, scoring over 1,000 PlayON points in each of the last 2 games since he took the starting spot.

OBTuala ($6.8m) – don’t even think about it, he should be 100% owned. Linnett ($6.9m) is worth a look in his new bench forward role now as well, especially with Cooper and Hess coming off Origin, although it is unlikely that he will play 56 minutes again like he did last week. Feldt ($16.1m) and Winterstein ($13.7m) should make some big metres in this game also. For the Eels, G Jennings ($10.7m) looks value. M Jennings ($16.4m) and Hayne ($12.1m) will not be getting anywhere near my team this week, no way!

FWDTaumalolo ($24.8m) is hugely expensive but after his beastly performance last week I will be including him for sure. Hoare ($6.0m) is starting for the Cowboys with the injury to Scott Bolton, and at that price is a good cheap option. Hess and Cooper, in my opinion, are not options with question marks over their minutes this week. Alvaro ($17.1m) has been on fire lately and is putting up huge stats – even with Brown in the side I would expect him to top 1,200 PlayOn points again this week. Terepo ($11.7m) has been huge over the past month and is starting again this week, so at the cheap price is worth a run.

Notes – the Cowboys have Morgan, Cooper and Hess backing up from origin, so keep an eye out for any late changes, although I wouldn’t be playing any of those guys this week anyways. Look for the Cows to dominate this one, 34-10. JT x2 to go large!
