Now’s the time to remind everyone that you don’t play around with your team online to see what your squad would look like with a particular player in it. The number of times last year where a sob story was posted of a SC manager who put a player into their squad accidently after lockout amazed me every time it happened. This is how I will determine if lolo is a keeper or not , 65+ and il have to call nick politis for a few tips on how to bring him in without detection, GL lolo owners
Thinking I might have to move on Holland to Bateman this week to allow for 2 trades next week. Souths looking very tempting. Could get a few weeks break from the trade button that way.
I’m holding off on Holland > Bateman for another week. Holland could score well against Parra, and Bateman has the Storm tonight. If both perform this weekend, I’ll probably find another way to get Bateman into my team.
In a similar position – considering Lodge to Bateman this week, but a bit gun shy re Bateman due to Storm and the Raiders’ wacky minutes distribution last week.
I can understand the conservative approach but I’ve taken the other tack- started with Bateman. He certainly looks the goods and have you heard him talk-sounds like Brad Pitt in “Snatch” and Holland has gone for Friend to improve the structure of my team. He was a mistake. Best of luck to all.

Having fixed tatola and simonnson , next thing is having a look at CNK and Kahu , in fact i’m ready to flick both and let it rain $$$$$$$$$$$ , with my centre cheapies scoring me very poorly sivo rava and Garrick & not going to make much imo. I have CNK in my line up but I want him to fail so It becomes a no brainer decision.

I think Tatola – Lawrie is a lock for me next week. 55 mins and comments from the coach about Lawrie’s motor and cementing a starting spot sooner rather then later has me assured. What I’m torn on is wether I move Flegler to Mikele and would love a push either way, insights more then welcome!

But there is a good chance I wont trade at all next week which will be a first for me (first 2wks no trading).
Feels like yesterday when we were blessed with him, kelly and Suli as solid as ctw basement price cheapies. There may have been more more with that good group.
NRL PHYSIO
Josh Mansour has been ruled out of Rd2 with a minor AC joint (tip of shoulder) injury suffered last weekend. Can see direct blow to L shoulder below. Often can play through minor AC jt sprains (as Mansour did in finishing the Rd1 game), but can take 2 weeks to settle completely
CNK and Kahu to Pereira and burns looks like my final touch ups , anyone else getting on periera , 35 base both games , seems to be the go to side for the dragons . Great 5th centre option and $$$maker…….

Considering how painfully frustrating Supercoach was for me last year, this season (so far) has been a welcome change of pace.
I’m in the camp of people who had Cook, Burgess, Murray and Burns last night and am happy with the start. Hope the rest of the team can follow suit.
I only own Murray … But I had a great year last year so im glad to see you going well !

You haven’t decided if he’s a keeper or not? He’s been a keeper for like 5 years
borderline keeper at best 😉
He has played at lock and been the #1 forward in their pack for that time.
There is now Maguire, Hess and McLean all arguably at their peak; and he is also playing on an edge.
He is likely still a gun, but enough variables have changed to at least make the question a valid one.
He’s the best forward in the comp. It doesn’t matter who’s around him he will always be a gun.
I think Fifita would have something to say about that 😛

One of mates heavily considered him. Left winger for dragons usually gets a few pies, okay base and general development.
Not sure he’s worth a trade though.

Currently tossing it up I’m leaning towards CNK purely because he’s a fullback.
But against a stingy storm defence.
Going sivo, No jennings he might get some ball.

I’m avoiding the ctw lottery.
Sticking with CNK as he seems to have a decent work rate.
Giving CNK a chance hopefully it stays dry…
