What happened to teams dropping two players from their squads 24 hours out from kickoff, going from 21 to 19.
Noticed no players out of Storm v Rabbits squads, is that not happening this year?
Johns and Loiero dropped out for Storm. Dargan and Moga for the bunnies
in nrl.com team lists, the 2 players haven’t yet dropped off, but the commentary below the teams says:
Cooper Johns and Trent Loiero were the first two players omitted from the squad on Wednesday.
Tautau Moga and Troy Dargan were cut from the extended squad 24 hours before kick-off.
TLDR:
Souths – Tautau Moga and Troy Dargan drop out
Storm – Cooper Johns and Trent Loiero drop out

Solid squad there bud. The obvious concern is carrying 2x nuffs (Walker, Blore) but to squeeze the rest of squad in, I get it. Fui an alternative to Blore but saving a trade has appeal

Ive gone a very similar route to you. I have Jbrailey instead of Lam, Munster instead of Calker, Saab instead of Fusi and Bsmith instead of Dfifita with 88k itb. Good luck for the season.

Last real decision I’m stuck on
Here is my one and only team post, just so people can see how I compiled whatever score I post on Mondays. I’m not looking for suggestions. My decisions have been made, for better or probably for worse. Firstly, some words on my strategy. I’m concentrating on superguns in the scoring positions of half, 5/8 and FB, and basically picking any other player hoping they will make cash in order to upgrade later. I am joining you all aboard the Hudson Young express. A bit nervous about it given the Raiders favour their LHS and that his scores on the edge haven’t been great in the past but it’s the one selection I am really just backing my heart over my head.
Interested in your pick of Brimson over Paps… is it just a bit of a POD move? I kinda feel AJ is maxed out but Paps has upside with proper home games and goal kicking. Also a tad cheaper of course. Brimson also more of an injury risk based on history. What’s your thoughts?
Not so speak for Salty but I imagine it has a lot to do with the draw as well. Titans first three weeks is pretty appealing compared to the Storm. Maybe look to trade to Papenhuyzen in round 4.
It doesn’t matter who Paps or Teddy r playing their elite athletes and will open up any team

think it is a bit of a deceptive one if you think about it ! Especially if another hooker comes onto that bench and Smith doesn’t play 80 mins. Wasn’t he going to start at lock though this year before Grant went down ?
I have both at the moment. I’ll likely swap cheese if they bring in a bench hooker, but he would still make and prob exceed BE

There’s certainly some risk but all players at that price point carry risk. I’m surprised he’s at #13 given other candidates in that team – Lawrie, Mez, Kerr

Not much talk on reimis smith as a decent ctw pick who can score points at 324k. Solid player in a good attacking side. Am I missing something? Base not strong enough??
Nothing wrong with him, he’s just at an awkward price for ctw. Could be a nice POD
Have a look at storm CTW over the past few years, there has never been a real standout GUN.
There have cases where they go on runs and are priced well over 320k
If there first 3 rounds was better I would be keen but hes hard to play those first 3 weeks

Depends how Lodge goes for me and also how good Hass is going
I’d say depends on minutes. Reckon he drops in value significantly.
