Trap – player with big expectations but also a big risk of flopping

Thoughts on Barnett going close to matching it with Matterson? Would like a POD while saving some coin to upgrade elsewhere
Maybe if he plays 80
He might, and he won’t miss games through origin. Matterson is also heading down the Cordner path with HIA issues
I would be all over Barnett if he was in the lock role like last year. His base drops off a lot on the edge but with kicking his still a good buy, But he wont avg as high as Matterson

Feel like I’m missing value in the Fus and Averillo. Could go TKO and Saab to Welch and Averillo but TKO seems near essential with kicking and absolutely a keeper regardless

Im trying to get my friend into it but everytime he tries to sign up or log in it takes him back to the home screen??
I have had this problem when using firefox
I switched to Opera and it went thru fine

Howdy all…. have had Lam from day 1 (with Watson)now warming to J Brailey instead…..Halfs are Cleary and Fogarty…My 5/8s are Munster and CWalker….Thoughts???….cash is not an issue.
I’d stick with Lam, though I’m not sure he’s the home run others think he is

Could see you cutting down on a 2rf to free up some cash and boost the hooking or 5/8 area. As well as maybe cutting a ctw down
My thoughts exactly. Have been toying with Fifita- cheese which would give me 80k, however I’m afraid Fifita goes berzerk against weak first few round teams. The other is Kelly who I’m really keen on, though the next best downgrade I can see would maybe be reimis smith (+175k). I’m left wondering if tearing my team up like this is worth upgrading Moylan to a gun?
I feel exactly where you are coming from but jist worried It won’t be balanced enough. Yes, moylan to a gun(Munster, walker, wightonpod) And getting a genuine hooker (gun) fo4 my the main option is cook or api i suppose. About cheese, talks that he won’t be given the full 80 and will have to share it around makes me a bit sceptical on that front. Tino to start fifita gone for a cheaper 2rf and boost that 5/8 and hooker. Understand Kelly and do rate him bit I often go for cheaper ctw base to start the season. Good… Read more »
Where do you feel it’s weak? 5/8?
I would choose between Watson and Lam and put winner at hooker. Downgrade a couple to then fund Munster or Calker. (Twal and one other)
Staines needs a guernsey round 1 v Cows, they will target that side with Hammer Holmes in def
Yep mainly 5/8 and Hooker. I’m really keen on twal at what seems to be a lowered price tag. It seems that that is the only solution- tear my team up to fund walker or munster. Will take that Staines point on board, cheers!

Don’t play fuimaono. Can see both the others with high potential to score + fuimaono off the bench for the dragons
But he’s named to start #13. Could play 80mins?
I just don’t see him getting the full 80 with their bench and rotations. Could be wrong but hes playing for the dragons , has a low ppm output of 0.7 and scored 498 in 17 games.

SST the obvious with the goal kicking and great base, but I’m a big fan of Paulo’s playstyle and think more minutes will see him shine to start the season. Basically a case of head vs heart.
Well they average the same last year and only one of them picks up goal kicking… choice is pretty obvious
TKO will win the poll, and is the safer choice.
But, Paulo could easily outscore him. Arthur was open about him playing more minutes, and he played 71 in the trial – so looks legit. If Paulo ups his minutes into the mid 60s he could outscore TKO, even with the goal kicking.
Yep both priced similar and both poised to bang. Really can’t go wrong with either.
Would love both. Personally can’t make the cash work.
Surprised to see Paulo is winning the poll…. Pauli’s minutes could fluctuate is my only worry but love him as a player, gonna be a tough choice.

TPJ: Can be an absolute beast when stays on the field (reports he has cleaned up game with solid preseason) & has a handy DPP for the likes of Tino
TKO: A gun on his day (depending on mins) with goal-kicking duties
Second TPJ sneezes his on the sideline for 2-4 weeks don’t be an idiot.
