Not sold on Fergo, as per last year, he just didn’t receive ball, but plenty of upside if they go that way this year!
I like the Gutho pick! Big cash to be made off HOK if it pays off but missing the big 3 could cost you.

Thanks for the response. Yeah willing to take the risk on fergo, plenty of upside. He did average 30 in base last season and has a nice draw to begin.

I don’t mind the spread, good alternate picks in DCE, Luai, Api, will separate from the crowd. No Teddy is big call..
Ultimately TLT will decide your NPRs.

Yeah I was just making a placeholder side. I’m hoping Papy kicks and RTS last year I’m hoping he goes out guns blazing.

I feel like using that extra 200-300k from not going Teddy allows to strengthen up the rest of the team.

This is the great debate isn’t it. Can that extra $200-300k make up for not starting with Teddy. He was the #1 player last season by a fair margin, but he doesn’t have the easiest start to the year, there are also a few changes about at the chooks. I think starting or not starting with Teddy could be one of the bigger plays to start the year.

When playing for OVERALL $50,000 cash, what rank do you need to be inside after round 1?
Eg. If ranked 2,000th from 100,000+, sure you could catch most of them, but at least 100/2000 could prove too hard/competitive.
I think the safe number to be inside after round 1 is 1,500th. No?

After round 1 the overall winner was 28,000 and Tim Williams (2nd last year) was 13,000+ so round 1 is not super important. They cracked the top 100 by round 13 & 7 respectively. So I guess you’d wanna be in the top 100 by about round 10. With no byes last year it was also probably more difficult then usual to rocket up in a short space of time, so round 1 not super important (I’d still suggest your initial team is important that they fire over the space of the opening few rounds even if not round 1).… Read more »

It’s not too relevant ranking, more so the points between you and numero uno. It could be tight up in the rankings and you could be in the top 10000 but not too many points behind

Any reason to think Yeo won’t repeat last seasons ~70 average?

Think the fact he lost his dual and doesn’t have as much upside as the other premiums is a turn off. Maybe repeats again but in this case is priced at his average.

Also the minutes distribution is of concern with capewell lurking and a few quality players on that bench. Think being captain this isn’t too much of a concern.

Interesting to see Davey in Jersey 18 for the trial in what otherwise looks like the sea Eagles starting 17 minus DCE and Foran.
And even Saab not named in the trial.
Shaking my team up again

Also no Jurbo.

Could be Dez letting the starters try and prove themselves with the others already having the spot?

Alex Glenn has been named as Broncos captain, is this likely to affect Riki’s output? Unless he is named on the opposite edge, looks like he will have a bench role.

I think most are expecting him to start on the opposite edge

Does Haas coming back impact an edge spot, and if so – Glenn being captain… does he stay?

Think he’s captain for his testimonial. Not sure Kevie has landed on captain for the season but glen is in the box seat
