Buy, Sell, Hold – Round 22
The first round of the finals are done and dusted and if you won last week you’re either sitting pretty for the round or fighting for your life! This weeks buy, sell, hold will hope to give you the edge over your opponent so that you are in the best position to take out your leagues!
First, let’s have a look at how my team performed last week and how BSH performed last week:
Round 21 score: 1458
Overall Rank: 284th (up 79)
HITS
Last week was a shocker. Not any great calls from myself.
MISSES
Daly Cherry-Evans – BUY (32 points & $83.8k loss)
Also, before we begin head over to any major streaming platform or the link on our website to hear me on round 22 podcast where I discuss some more players for the run home.

BUY
CAM MURRAY – 2RF – $642,200 – BE 11
RATING: 9/10
What a man and what a performance. 3 try assists in the first 17 minutes should speak levels as to how good he is. Most importantly with Murray is his consistency, hitting over 70 points his last two games in just base and base attack. An absolute freak and never a bad buy regardless of his opposition.
DALY CHERRY-EVANS – HFB – $559,000 – BE 117
RATING: 8/10
I’m breaking a rule of mine by putting a player as a buy in back-to-back weeks but here we are. A 3 round average of 36.3 May deter people away from DCE but at a cheaper price and two tons in a row before the lowly run I think he’s a decent shout. Manly are fighting for the top 8 still and they should be leaning on their leader for a big game and big run home.
PAYNE HAAS – FRF – $573,000 – BE 76
HARRY GRANT – HOK – $570,900 – BE 45

HOLD
JOSEPH TAPINE – 2RF/FRF – $675,500 – BE 97
RATING: 7/10
Almost 36% of SuperCoachers were near tears at halftime of the Raiders game. Tapine on the sidelines clutching at his ribs and the memory of how long Matterson was out still lingering. However the results of Tapines injury haven’t been released and if you’re team is set up correctly, you’ll have a plug and play 3FRF like Max King or Jason Taumalolo you can slot into this position until we hear more.
JAHROME HUGHES – HFB – $531,900 – BE 75
RATING: 8/10
My man who decided he was only playing one half of footy against the lowly Titans. Oh what could’ve been! Thankfully, his results appear to be not quite as severe as first suspected and he should be back in 1-2 weeks.
CAM MCINNES – 2RF/HOK – $531,900 – BE 51

SELL
TAYLAN MAY – CTW – $441,100 – BE 78
RATING: 8/10
A late scratching sees May out of the team. The rumours of him turning up to training in a sling have turned out to be true and there are no current talks of how long he’s out for. He could be back next weekend but his 5 round average of 45.2 doesn’t hold a lot to be desired.
SUITABLE REPLACEMENTS: Ronaldo Mulitalo, Jaeman Salmon, Reuben Garrick
ISAIAH TASS – CTW – $402,400 – BE 32
RATING: 9/10
A solid player for SuperCoach teams and a very decent BBA, I believe his time is over with a very tough run of games coming up.
SUITABLE REPLACEMENTS: Same as Taylan May
REED MAHONEY – HOK – $521,200 – BE 62
Just used my last trade on DCE. God speed.
I could sell Mam for DCE (Hynes is my other half) but the reports of long recovery times for rib injuries has me looking to dump Tapine. 3 trades left.
TU: Mam to DCE
TD: Taps to Teddy
