Surely if that was to be the tigers side come rd one has to be good for nofo if Milne inside him offloading? And Matulino with that bench?

Do you think field could come in as a 5/8 and push Widdop to flb?

I’m hoping Widdop stays at 5/8.

Agree Bob, can’t see Mary moving Widdop after a ‘career year’ in 2017 at 5/8.

Widdop excelled there and dufty killed it back end so back 5 will be interesting with Mann and co. Battling for spots , nightingale might be on his last legs too .

I think he’s way to risky with a roosters storm broncos Eels storm draw first 5 rounds and no teddy where his average drops significantly too. You don’t win this thing by following the crowd so he’d be a huge POD for you but at that price his draw scares the heck out of me. If you’re spending up on one big winger early I’d go rapana with his draw

Is Fonua from Tigers gonna be a decent cow even though he’s priced 100k above base price?

No Kata for Warriors? Beale is out for a while so I imagine Kata will start for him but surely he will stay in the side

Milne nofo the new BJ/rapana imo. Plenty of potential as both love an offload and tackle busts. attacking stats will be the question mark how many line breaks and try’s will we score but I assume that will be the go to side so I’m on that bandwagon

Yes forgot him , that is most likely . Also ET at tigers il throw him in at hooker and leave out Macca , need eisenhuth in line up . Not sure why we bought McQueen

Aitken will get a centre spot for the Dragons.

Might be out of favour , prefer Mann but could always use Mann off the bench if he goes with aitken

These posts create good debate T4L at this time of year and I agree with Dieharder that Aitken will start at centre for the Dragon’s. The question then will be does Mann come back onto the bench, if so, one of Allgood/Latimore drop off then JGraham’s stocks rise as does Vaughn. It could be that Mann get’s the FLB gig over Dufty although personally as a Dragon’s fan I hope Dufty keeps it. I think you have the Roosters start line-up close with Aubbo perhaps least likely to hold spot. I don’t see enough FRF forwards on that bench though… Read more »

I would prefer ET eisenhuth twal marsters all in starting line up but that won’t happen just yet. Our most talented players are always getting blocked up has beens.
I’m worried about Reynolds but previous centres like Brenko lee have done well

tigers4life seriously considering starting with nofo this year. Decent av, stated played most last year injured, if Milne (who most should have in their team rd1) gets the starting center inside him could see the new bj/Rapana 2018, + will be the most effected positively for intercepts.

This would be good too for Matulino if there was to be a utility on the bench.

I think Twal will at least get in front of Grant . Rochow will be a smokie for a bench spot too . However the WTs first 17 is one of the hardest to pick for rd 1

Also think Reece Robinson will take a wing spot at the Roosters & take goalkicks . Don’t think it was a coincidence that they released Gordon shortly after they signed RR .

You can take lattimore and allgood out of dragons top 17, neither will get a sniff. Both McGregor and Milward have said lattimore and allgood are depth pieces and for around origin. Team will be as follows:

1. Dufty
2. McDonald
3. Aitken
4. Lafai
5. Nightingale
6. Widdop
7. Hunt
8. Graham
9. McInnes
10. Vaughn
11. Frizell
12. Sele/Host
13. De Bellin
14. Sims
15. Au Mau
16. Host/Sele
17. Mann
18. Leilua

That looks better. I would like to see Leilua get a spot though. Has a good offload in him.

I think sele or Leilua grab the edge spot over host/sims only resigned Leilua, sims better utilised as an impact imo to give Vaughan/graham a spell in the frf rotation with au mau, host used to come on for rein no? Mann likely to be on the bench as utility?

I agree that sims would be better off the bench, however Mary is a big fan and started him at edge forward last season when frizell was out. Impact off the bench was fantastic and played better than he has in years.

Sele IMO is best suited as a middle forward cause he is an excellent defender and isn’t a great hole runner (lesser version of JDB). Prefer to see host start, good edge runner and for whatever reason, is favoured over Leilua ATM but could quickly change. Also he never came on for rein 2 seasons ago.

The Roosters side looks pretty close.
Certain Manu plays centre and Fergo wing.
Believe Radley will get the 14 role at the expense of Butcher or Tetevano.

Food for thought, Aubo plays bench utility. Cordner plays right side with Cronk and Matterson (or Gray) plays left edge….

Would love to see Matterson get an edge spot, he’s the only key 2RF/CTW dual that I’m interested in outside of Milne at this stage. Do you think it would be an 80 min role @ XXXXBrewster or shared with Aubbo?

Second that marmalade would def try and fit him in at ctw. Can see tko starting instead of Liu and Liu/tetevarno being the bench frf rotation. Butcher coming on for tko and maybe Radley/aubosun as utility?

Also has anyone heard anymore to Dogs looking at picking up Sezer??
