Mr Perfect

Who will be kicking?

symonds

Isaako probably

willshillbillies

Current halves are Moses, Luai, Brown and Drink.
Considering Moses>Cleary and Brown>SJ, got FOMO on SJ with his run and this is the only way I can afford both. Little worried about this as it leaves me with $45k itb and I need around $250k to bring in Teddy prior to Rd 10.

Other options I’m considering are hold Brown and go
JTB/EKat/Frizell>Butcher (Butcher will be top17) or
Kennedy/Staggs>Talau (Talau will be NPR) or
Drink>Croker (Croker will be NPR)
Grateful for any and all opinions.

Trade-a-holic

Moses to Cleary and Kennedy to Talau imo.

dirkules

api, grant
hass, TPJ/ rudolf JTB
Lolo, Matto, Mcinnes/ Katoa, capewell, carrigan
moses/ walters
drink/ luai
lomax, best, mansour, yeo/ shib, watkins, nui
ponga/ dufty
Only have 187k itb so cant get both SJ and cleary in this week. been meaning to get capewell out for the last cpuple of weeks but other injuries mean im probably going to have still in the team once fully fit!
Any suggestions, maybe dufty to HTF for pure cash upgrades next week after moses to cleary/SJ.

TurkeySnow

Would go Dufty>Talau if you were going to downgrade.

Drink to either SJ or Cleary whoever you are feeling.

jks

Does anyone rate Keary over SJ or Flanagan?

I was originally thinking SJ and Flanagan in for Munster and Moses. Getting Keary would give me a bit more cash to play with next week though.

Turbo time

Think it’s a great pod play. Round 11 I feel like that will be an even better time to pick him up. Lot of good ball going through him and is near the top try assist list! Someone I’ll be bringing in very soon

weebs

Please don’t mention his name. Would like is owner percentage to stay low,
Sincerely Keary owner.

3rd-man-in

General consensus obviously excluding injury.
Would you consider Teddy a must have by next week considering cowboys match up.
TU Yes
TU No
For context Papy owner with planned trade ins of Cleary and Sj this week with a bank of $212,600 after said trades. I see some people plan on holding out until rnd 11, I’m not convinced that’s wise. Can anyone convince me otherwise?

Philtrooper

I am getting teddy in two weeks time. His BE is gonna be 150+ when he plays the cowboys (unless he goes off tonight against the storm). And hopefully, won’t get another 200pts against the boys.

So all in all, I have planned something and it probably won’t happen!

Turbo time

Think with the break he may go Beserk if the roosters are up for it tonight

TurkeySnow

I do hope so! Was looking good in the first 30 against eels, sitting on 60pts before being bulldozered.

3rd-man-in

That’s what worries me I think. Dare I say it the eels are top notch opposition at present and he was well on his way to another good score. In a year where points over cash can’t help but wonder whether grabbing the points isn’t the way to go.

3rd-man-in

Cheers mate, you’ve put it well.
I’m still petrified knowing what he’s capable of but calculated risk I guess. Price drop does seem inevitable.

TurkeySnow

Not owning Teddy would have me very concerned against cows, yes flbs haven’t scored great against cows, but this is the list that has faced them so far:

  • Isaako
  • DWZ
  • Sami?
  • Moylan/Kennedy
  • RTS (less dominant in attack than previous years)
  • Dui
  • Ponga (well contained and, kicked the ball out to nulify him)

Roosters are a lot better than all those sides, and some put together. Teddy could likely have a field day. And well come close to his 175 odd be

3rd-man-in

Hard to predict anyone going that large but I somewhat agree. 100 and upwards a very real possibility.
Which would detract from the appeal of a price drop. That’s my concern, definitely

TurkeySnow

the thing is after raiders (not the same as last year) Teddy plays warriors, nzl, titans and dragons. Captain options in all of those games. If he loses anything will surely re-gain it.

Philtrooper

Yep, Raiders game is a must for Teddy. Fullbacks having been killing them. I liked what I saw from the cowboys about not kicking to ponga. they had a plan and executed it. I can’t see why cowboys wouldn’t do that to Teddy as well.

But he will probably still kill us and score 100+

3rd-man-in

Post warriors he’s in, non negotiable. I’d be surprised if I can hold out that long. Cheers for the comments. Not sure I’m any clearer as to what I will do but it was good to hear none the less!

TU: Luai> SJ + Arrow> Hudson Young
TD: Williame> Talau + Arrow> AFB

Ratboy Slim

Any idea how many minutes Hudson Young plays now he is starting ?

TurkeySnow

Likely 80min, with Tapine reverting to 13

corsola

is it viable to bring in talau next week?
Wanting to get in AFB and SJ this week

TurkeySnow

Talau isn’t necessary, but is a solid cash gen option. AFB if you need a forward is a great pick up. Another you could look at next week could be Tapow, close to 415k next week

Philtrooper

New player question, can I make my second trade (if it doesn’t include any players in tonights game) after the game’s lockout tonight? Or do I have to have my trades sorted by tonight?

smiddy

rolling lockout so no don’t have to have them sorted tonight

Backi

You can hold your trades as long as your players haven’t played yet. Keep in mind if you are doing a position change in your trades, the player you are using for the position swap cannot have played either. As a general rule you can not reverse your trades once you’ve made them after the round starts

Trade-a-holic

You can make your second trade up until kick-off of the players involved in your trade so look at when both players involved in your trade are playing and make trade before the first of them plays.

dazman73

Moses to Cleary or SJ? I can only afford one. Which one? SJ to go nuts against the Titans, or Cleary’s dream draw?

Backi

Imo just get cleary as he is a keeper and the best halfback option by a long way

central coast crab

Cleary

DCE2011

TU: Hudson Young
TD: Nat Butcher

TurkeySnow

I would say Butcher, did a stat dive on both earlier this week. Young is in a similar mould to Sua where his av should be around 55 odd, given 80min.

Butcher, if given 55-60min at 13 will have the greater involvement, in a better attacking side and already showed a great av when playing more than 50min, 64av games from bench or at 13 5 games.

DCE2011

Thanks for the great research, TS. I don’t really need another Su’A in my team. 😉

TurkeySnow

I looked at Sua, Young and butcher, keen on Butcher next week as I can’t afford this week and 4 forwards, rotations and min need to be watched tonight. I am looking at Tapow next week as well, but Young wont be out of reach if he goes well. But would go Butcher then Young without seeing Butcher play at the 13.

Sams seals

I really like young, Looks really good in game and young forwards always have worse stats in the early years.

Nicholas

Ranked in the 23k’s How important is getting Tedesco
TUDufty, Twal > Teddy, Butcher + $30,800 ITB
TD Dufty, Twal > Nofo, AFB + $65,600 ITB (Would be getting teddy in probs after the raiders game)

Roosterblah

Pretty simple for me this week.
Moses and Williame OUT
Cleary and Talau IN

TU: Good Trades
TD: Bad Trades (Any changes?)

Is Haas now a captain option with Lodge out?

Trade-a-holic

Definitely. Should play big minutes (but who knows what or even if Seibold thinks).

TurkeySnow

Surely would think he sees 80min or close to it. NZL allowing the 3rd highest score to props as well last three rds.

Shtanky

TU twal>TPJ and Munster>Cleary
TD Murray>Matto and Munster>Cleary(means I have to play one of Carrigan/Flegler/Rudolph in frf)

TurkeySnow

Carrigan is a play, Flegler an option this week as well without Lodge.

Matto is a safe keeper, Pangai a risk every week.

Trade-a-holic

Play Carrigan

bighitters

Who to bring in this week!

TU Teddy/Butcher

Comment Cleary/SJ

Trade-a-holic

Cleary/SJ this week but Matto as soon as funds allow.

Last R?
.
Lucy, Luai or Talau?
.
Lucy safe 40-50, Luai low of 30? Could go 60-70 and Talau only if he bags another double

TurkeySnow

Luai against Reynolds, Garner, BJ

Latex Salmon

Hey all if you had the choice of picking up lolo or matterson. who would you pick.

BB19

At this stage Matto

POD Hunter

I went Lolo with same choice
They’re even but just the slightest of doubt about matterson and attacking stats with no Moses
