Well im a lil bit stumped what to do in this mess. any help would be greatly appriciated
ITB $133,900
Api (Grant)
Haas, JTB (Twal, Rudolf)
Lolo, Mcinnes, Lucy (Carrigan, Capewell, Katoa)
Cleary (Moses)
Gwilliams (Luai)
Yeo, Mansour, Isaako, Kennedy (Best, Williame, Lemuelu)
Dufty (Turbo)
Assuming your fullbacks are 2x guns, then ponga. If you have the teddy + turbo combo currently then theres a chance you have no fullbacks available come friday. I’m not convinced Teddy plays come game day

TPJ or Saifiti?
.
Pangai has a favourable draw and he’ll act as one of the main attacking outlets.
.
Saifiti has an excellent PPM however can he maintain it?
Was about to ask the same question BB19 Last year Pangai from 5 starts on the edge he av 77min and scored av 77pts Rd 1 this year scored 88pts from the full 80. My biggest concern is I currently have Haas, Carrigan (don’t mind keeping as a safe 60-65 3rd frf 4th 2rf option), Milf (looking less and less likely for this beaut run!), Isaako (major issue this week!), FLeg (at least not losing cash this week), and looking at Caotes/Nui/Dfaf/Staggs Also the fact every game their is serious fear he will be suspended. Dsaf is in form at… Read more »
I’m bringing in TPJ mainly because of the draw and probably play full game with the lack of bench they have. Saifiti wouldve been excellent to start with but going forward at the same price i reckon TPJ averages more and is dual pos. Negative – he is bound to get himself suspended at some stage and has the Tommy Turbo hammies. Saifiti is playing some fantastic footy though!

Thoughts on upcoming 2RF/FR cheapies? Trying to work out if my best option is to add a dual nuff or someone who can make coin.
I need to move Yeo up to my centers but have other work to do so would need to kill a CTW cow and bring in a cheapie/nuff to make $.
HAve looked at Kepie (but Kapow now back), maybe Jackson Ford at Dragons?
Provided Niu gets the full stint at #1, think Niu should get more opportunities to score well but it’s the Broncos, whichever you pick will probably be the wrong one in this world of supercoach haha. Good luck
We effectively get a free look at Niu with scores of 9 and 6 off the bench to rollout of his breakeven. Whilst attractive draw, I’d prefer to see what his base will be, and his matchday security in a Broncos side that seems to chop and change with the ebb of the tide.
With some players ranked a bit lower than wanted (me) I feel Niu outscores Coates judging off “the next Lockyer” (ahaha) and highlights and against Titans (averaging like 65 points to FB’s). Playing a game of points over cash I’ve decided (will disregard BE’s)…
Will a poll really sway your decision ?
Check we’re the titans are leaking points and make a decision .
Can I just say that I got milf last year for a game against the titans and they got beat by them .
I think they will get beat again this week, the broncos are weak .
Lucky to score a point last week against Newcastle .that ball was a little higher and the get beat to nil again.!

Need to turn K. Watkins into one of the below or be forced to play Lemeulu.
Problem is you can’t get teddy until an hour before kickoff.
Personally I don’t believe he is going to play, even if he is cleared.
What is the motivation behind the Roosters playing him? There is no reason for them to do so and giving him a week off seems the logical choice. It also gives Hall another chance at match fitness in case of injuries.
In saying that, I hope he does play otherwise my reserves are gonna look even worse than they do now!
I hv teddy and turbo but I’m thinking of moving Mann to FB and waiting a week on Turbo>Ponga so I can bring in Munster v Warriors. Who do you think is worth more points: Munster v Warriors or Ponga v Cowboys?
Yeh I went Turbo to Averillo via Mann. I shifted Mann into FB so I have FB cover if Teddy doesn’t play. And then I used the cash to go Luai to Munster. I just reckon you gotta have skin in the Storm-Warriors game (and I don’t have Smith). I think the Warriors will play a protest match and won’t even try that hard. I don’t see them “doing one for Stephen” – I reckon they’ll be happy to lose by a big margin as a protest. And they’ve gotta be emotionally drained from the whole bubble thing too. So… Read more »
Which gun should I get in first for this week
1. Matterson
2. Ponga (if Ted is out I can play latrell)
3. Munster (and I don’t have to play One of drink or luai)
Go with whoever think you goes bigger of Munster v Crichton.
Moses doesn’t have a great average against Raiders and has breakeven of 100+, likely to lose quite a bit of cash vs Twal who won’t lose money due to his injury.
Munster for me and if you’re playing catch up, Captain option for sure against Warriors

Thoughts on Moses and whether to look at trading him out? Potential replacements I am thinking of are DCE, SJ and Cleary
Cleary is the end game set and forget.
SJ is the short term roll of the dice for upside, with the Sharks draw.
DCE may get more attacking stats with no Turbo, but he’s a no for me.
If I’m not mistaken, DCE averaged quite well last year with Turbo out but without goalkicking I don’t think he’s an option. SJ with 3 round average of 70 and draw is still quite friendly. Cleary should be your man, pretty fixture proof with nice draw coming up and every serious player will end up with Cleary at HB

Warriors confirm Eliesa Katoa is expected to be out for 3 weeks with an ankle injury suffered in Round 6. Quite the effort to play out the 2nd half after suffering the injury. Aiming to return in Round 10
certainly one of the ways it might go. My main concern is Tapine. Could Horse have potentially leapfrogged him to the starting 13 when all is fully fit?
I would imagine Horse is considered a middle player compared to Tapine on the edge. So they may not be in direct competition.
Bateman is listed as indefinite. Canberra don’t have any other forward injuries, so apart from Bateman they are at full tilt in the forwards. *Murchie might be back soon from the Warriors but don’t think that will affect the situation.
Im a raider fan and I think you might be right judging by some chat forums I’m in. They are close to signing a young backrower as well from over there I assume as replacement
On the 7th of June nrl physio posted this: “Raiders are said to be estimating a ~10 week return to play time for John Bateman after he underwent shoulder surgery this week (via 9WWOS). Common procedure that results in this timeframe: arthroscopic “cleanout” with additional work (eg relieving pressure on biceps tendon)” Which would still be about 7-8 weeks away, i have owned horse from the start and i expect Tapine to shift to the middle eventually but i imagine i would have sold by then/ when it happens. One slight concern i have though is his mins have fluctuated… Read more »
Why not look at Tom Burgess, guaranteed to keep his spot, horse is one of those player IMO who is great if youve started the season with him but is not a trade in option. He along with FTB, Katoa, Carrigan are players to be traded when theyve peaked not keepers.
I honestly prefer Dsaf (in great form and great match up this week).
Can look at Pangai/Horse/Turgess but can’t go past him, he will make 100k over the next few weeks as well.
Was thinking of Klem next week, but would leave me playing short this week. But Dsaf looks good. Paying overs but if he can keep it up could be 600+ shortly.

Munster
is Tevita Funa a trap …. first to make way when Suli returns or ?
He’s either starting or not in the team at all.
He won’t be stuck on a bench like Isaako is now.
He’s a short-term cash grab. He’ll leave the team when Suli returns.
Probably not a trap as he will make money this week then disappear when Suli returns.
Most people are avoiding as he won’t make the kind of money with his job security as say Coates.
Thanks but potentially a one week rise and then he is out (unless further injuries) isn’t worth a trade or the price differential with Coates.
He’s then a npr possibly so can work that way

Shame. Definitely makes the conversation for cheapie of the year.
Not an urgent sell given the other carnage but I’d say 3 weeks means he’s probably done his dash in my SC side.
especially when if he does return the game after is roosters
And could conceivably return via the bench.

How long does Horse have left in the starting 13? Is the fear Tapine moves back to starting lock once Batemen returns? (when does Batemen return?)
I’d love to pick him up in my front row purely based on his price.
Would you grab him over Dsaf?
For 100k less i’d like to get Horse instead but i feel like theres maybe too much risk with Horse’s job security.
Something about he had a setback so a bit yet
I think Bateman’s next game might be in Super League…
